We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator. The role Encord is scaling rapidly, with strong product-market fit and a clear mandate to plant our flag in New York City. This is our first dedicated hire in the market — and the person who takes this role will be the founding presence that shapes how we show up on the East Coast. You’ll be handed a genuinely compelling product with proven traction, a strong brand in AI circles, and the backing of a world-class team — then trusted to build from there. That means opening doors, winning deals, and laying the foundation for a team and office that grows around you. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working closely with our founders, you'll take a category-defining AI infrastructure platform to market — selling into the most advanced AI teams in the world as we expand from core computer vision into Physical AI, one of the next major frontiers in AI. This is a rare opportunity: traction is proven, the product is real, but the New York chapter hasn't been written yet. You'd be the one to write it. What you’ll do Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from pipeline generation through close Be Encord's first on-the-ground presence in New York — build our brand, network, and pipeline in the market from day one Sell into sophisticated mid-market and enterprise teams building frontier AI products Drive high-impact deals and help scale Encord through its next phase of growth Work with customers solving real, complex problems across multimodal data, robotics, and physical systems Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to feed customer insight directly into the roadmap Shape the playbook — help define how we sell, who we target, and how we win in this market Lay the foundation for a NYC team Who we're looking for Excited by the idea of building something — not just hitting a number, but opening a market Highly ambitious, competitive, and motivated by outsized ownership and impact Entrepreneurial mindset — you move fast, figure things out, and don't wait to be told what to do Strong commercial intuition and the ability to earn trust with senior technical and business stakeholders Comfortable selling complex, technical products (or excited to ramp quickly in a deep technical domain) Hungry to grow into a leadership role as the NYC team scales around you A history of strong performance in high-expectation environments — start-up experience a strong plus Experience requirements 2–5 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with deal values of $50K+ Demonstrated ability to sell to technical buyers — including engineers, ML practitioners, or data scientists — and navigate to economic decision-makers Proven ability to self-source pipeline and drive deals from first contact through close Experience at a high-growth start-up or fast-paced sales environment preferred Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, SPICED, Challenger) Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or technical platforms. Exposure to mid-market or enterprise sales cycles. Start-up experience in fast-growth, execution-heavy environments. Curiosity about AI, robotics, or the future of Physical AI Why Encord Competitive salary, commission, and meaningful equity in a high-growth star

We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator. The role This is not a traditional BDR role — and this is not a traditional market entry. Encord is planting its flag in New York City, and this Commercial Associate will be one of the first people on the ground. You'll be an early commercial hire with real ownership across the top and middle of the funnel, helping shape how we identify, engage, and convert the right customers as we build out our East Coast presence from scratch. You'll sit at the intersection of outbound strategy, customer discovery, and deal execution. From day one, you'll be expected to think like a builder: figuring out which accounts matter in this market, crafting thoughtful outreach, and partnering closely with our NYC Account Executive to move real opportunities forward. This role is designed to identify future sellers early. We optimise for trajectory over polish. High performers typically progress into closing, leadership, or specialist roles (Sales, Solutions, Growth) within 12–18 months, often sooner — and as the NYC office grows around you, that path is even more accelerated. What you'll do Identify, research, and prioritise high-potential accounts across Encord's core verticals — with a focus on building our presence in the New York market Develop strong points of view on who to target and why Execute thoughtful, multi-channel outbound (email, LinkedIn, calls, creative plays) Craft messaging that resonates with technical and commercial buyers Partner with the NYC AE and Growth and Sales globally to test campaigns, refine targeting, and improve conversion Own outcomes, not just activity — quality opportunities matter more than volume Work directly with Account Executives to progress live opportunities Support discovery, demos, trials, and follow-ups Help shape business cases and stakeholder mapping Ensure a high-quality, consistent prospect experience Help define what good looks like in this market — you're not inheriting a playbook, you're helping write it Who we're looking for Excited by the idea of being early — you want to help build the NYC chapter, not join something already built You've consistently performed in the top percentile of what you've done — academically, professionally, or competitively Motivated by ownership, learning, and long-term growth, not just title or short-term compensation You enjoy figuring out why something works, not just following a script Comfortable operating with ambiguity and high expectations You can engage with technical concepts without losing sight of business outcomes You want to be part of building something — not just maintaining it Experience requirements 1–3 years of professional experience in a commercial, customer-facing, or high-performance role Exposure to outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, or client engagement is strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Evidence of discipline, resilience, and continuous improvement Why Encord Competitive salary, commission, and meaningful equity in a high-growth start-up Clear, accelerated growth opportunities as the company scales rapidly Strong in-person culture: 3–5 days/week in our newly launched office Flexible PTO to fully recharge 18 paid vacation days in the U.S. plus federal holidays Annual learning & development budget Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Frequent travel opportunities across the U.S., London, and Europe Bi-annual company offsites, twice-weekly team lunches, and mont

We've achieved strong product–market fit and have a clear path to significantly accelerate revenue this year. Now, we're looking for exceptional sales talent to help build and scale the Physical AI business from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of Physical AI and partnering closely with our founders and leadership team, you'll take a category-defining AI infrastructure platform to market — selling to some of the most advanced AI teams in the world as we expand from Digital into Physical AI use cases. This is a high ownership, individual contributor role with a path to grow responsibilities from sourcing to supporting on deals and progressing into owning full cycle sales. This is not a traditional BDR role. You'll be an early sales hire with real ownership across the top and middle of the funnel. The role We're looking for an outstanding experienced engineer to push our platform to the next level of performance and reliability. You'll join us at a crucial stage of accelerated development for the company, product, and team. As part of a small, highly collaborative group, you'll be a key driver of vital projects — operating with a high degree of autonomy, building and extending multiple foundational systems, and crafting performant, reliable, and maintainable solutions to challenging technical and product problems. What you'll do Build and extend foundational systems across the full stack — from backend services to frontend interfaces Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from product and architectural decisions through to deployment, monitoring, and measuring user impact Work autonomously to drive projects forward while collaborating closely with a lean, high-trust team on challenging problems Tackle complex domains at massive scale using simple, well-crafted solutions Take initiative, be proactive in problem-solving, and continuously seek improvements across the codebase and product Who we're looking for Experienced: you've seen a lot and built a lot compared to your peers — personally developed and maintained multiple systems from scratch, with a deep understanding of the trade-offs involved in building reliable, performant software at speed Impact-driven: you want your work to have a tangible outcome for people and aren't satisfied by products that don't see the light of day A builder: you enjoy all aspects of building a complete product, are comfortable moving across the stack, and love problem-solving from first principles Comfortable with uncertainty: happy to tackle problems without a predefined solution, and excited to make decisions autonomously as you go A team player: you contribute your best work and actively help others do the same — you enjoy levelling up those around you Experience requirements Strong full-stack engineering experience, with production-grade work across both backend and frontend Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript; experience with React a plus Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and containerised deployment (Kubernetes) Experience building at scale in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment Exposure to machine learning workflows or ML infrastructure is a plus Tech stack We are technology agnostic at Encord and not looking for experience across all of these — as long as you're open to learning, please apply. We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator. The role As a General Manager, you’ll join as a first leadership hire in the region to scale our India delivery hub: building a high-calibre team, setting the cultural standard, and creating an industry-leading project delivery capability. You'll work closely with our business leadership, GTM, Product and Tech teams globally, with the long-term goal of scaling the India org to several hundred people. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety and ambiguity, understands what it takes to build a world-class operation in a new hub and cares deeply about the talent bar and the company’s image. What you'll do Build the organisation. You'll shape how the team is structured, and set the standard for everything that follows — with the goal of growing to several hundred people over time. Turn strategy into execution. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with leadership to break down company priorities into concrete plans, clear ownership, and the operational discipline needed to actually deliver them across the India function. Create the operating backbone. Establish the rhythms and routines — planning cycles, performance cadences, leadership check-ins — that keep a fast-scaling team focused, aligned, and moving without losing momentum. Fix what's slowing us down. Proactively identify where the organisation is getting stuck — whether that's process gaps, capacity constraints, or structural friction — and build solutions that scale as we grow. Maintain an exceptionally high bar for talent. Every hire matters. You'll set the hiring standard, make the tough calls, and ensure the people joining the India team are genuinely exceptional. Make Encord a destination in India. Build a brand that the best people in the market actually want to join. The product you're selling is the opportunity itself; make it real. Build a culture worth staying for. Create an environment where people do the best work of their careers — one that reflects Encord's values and holds up as the team scales, not just when it's small. Who we're looking for You operate like an owner. You don't wait for direction — you identify what needs to happen, build the plan, and execute it. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down; it's where you do your best work. You move people without authority. You get things done across teams and geographies through trust, clear framing, and good judgement — not by leaning on your title or escalating up the chain. You hold the line on quality. Whether it's a hire, a process, or a client deliverable, you have high standards and the conviction to enforce them even when it's inconvenient. You build for the long term. You're not here to hit a short-term target and move on — you want to build something that lasts, and you understand that culture and talent bar are the foundations everything else rests on. Experience requirements 10–15 years of general management or site leadership experience, ideally with a strong consulting foundation — ex-MBB at Project Leader, Engagement Manager, or Principal level is the benchmark Proven experience building teams in a high-growth or operationally complex environment Deep understanding of the local talent market and the ability to build a brand that competes A global mindset — you understand the business standards and can bring that rigour and culture to your team Exceptional people instincts: you know how to recruit for excellence and how to protect culture as a team scales Comfortable with ambiguity — we don't have all

About us Encord is the universal data layer for AI that helps 300+ AI teams train and run models on the right data. Our platform indexes, curates, annotates, and evaluates data across the full AI lifecycle, from development through production. Trusted by Woven by Toyota, AXA, UiPath, Zipline, and more. We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator. The role Think founder associate, but for revenue. You'll work directly with our revenue leadership as a force multiplier across the entire GTM org: a high-leverage role where you own the strategic and operational projects that shape how Encord grows. You'll spend your time on two core streams: Revenue strategy & operations. Owning the projects that move the needle: pricing experiments, market segmentation, territory design, forecasting, pipeline analytics, deal desk support. You'll build the systems, dashboards and processes that scale our GTM function from where it is today to where it needs to be next. Cross-functional execution. Partnering with sales, customer success, marketing and RevOps to make sure every team is firing. You'll run special projects (new geography launches, vertical plays, ICP refinement), prep board and exec materials, sit in on key deals, and step in wherever revenue leadership needs an extra brain and pair of hands. About you You're a builder. You see a messy process and you fix it. You spot a gap in reporting and you go build the dashboard. You build stuff with Claude. All the time. You're ambitious and you want to rise faster than would be possible in any 'normal' career, and you're happy to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is required. You're an entrepreneur and you want to be a part of building a business. You're sharp with numbers and equally comfortable in a spreadsheet, a customer call, or a strategy doc. You can zoom out to set direction and zoom in to fix what's broken. You want to grow within Encord. What the role involves
The Role Encord is a fast-growing company building the data infrastructure layer for AI teams. We work with leading enterprises across autonomous vehicles, healthcare, robotics, and generative AI. Our product team is small, high-calibre, and operating in genuinely green-field territory. The data layer for AI is still being defined, and you will help define it. As a Senior PM, you will own a meaningful product area, either the core platform experience or the data curation and exploration layer, and drive it from strategy through to customer outcomes. You will work closely with Engineering, ML, Design, and Customer Success, and play an active role in Encord's enterprise go-to-market motion. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who is comfortable making independent decisions and driving them through. You don't need a playbook. You write one. The Opportunity: Just as LLMs were unlocked by massive text datasets, the next wave of breakthroughs in self-driving vehicles, robotics, drones and generative AI requires building entirely new datasets and human feedback pipelines that don't yet exist. Encord is the platform the world's most ambitious AI teams use to build them, and you'll be helping define what that platform looks like. Hard and Complex Problems : There is no playbook for what the data layer for AI looks like. You'll be solving genuinely novel problems in your product area: whether that's core platform (tooling that scales from a 10-person startup to a 500-person AV team) or data curation (helping customers turn overwhelming floods of raw data into high-signal training datasets). Ownership and Growth : Product is represented at the highest levels at Encord. You'll have real ownership over your area: setting strategy, making calls, and driving them through. On a small, high-calibre team your impact is visible and your trajectory is accelerated. The Role Own and manage the product roadmap for your area, ensuring alignment with company goals, KPIs, and enterprise customer needs. Lead customer discovery, interviews, problem validation, webinars, and demos, translating complex pain points into clear, winning product bets. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive upsell, cross-sell, and expansion within our largest enterprise accounts. Collaborate with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality features at pace, writing tight specs, making clear tradeoffs, and holding a high bar for what ships. Contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative product management culture. Experience requirements 2 to 5 years in product management. You have seen an organisation scale rapidly and know what a good product looks like at each stage. Proven experience on B2B SaaS products or technical products sold to enterprise customers. You understand the enterprise sales motion, expansion, and how product decisions connect to revenue. You speak in metrics and impact, not features shipped. You have worked closely with GTM teams and can tie product decisions to business outcomes. A self-starter who makes independent decisions and drives them through. You want ownership, not just input. You are energised by ambiguity, not paralysed by it. You love speaking to customers. You are curious about hard problems at the frontier of AI, and you anticipate needs before customers can fully articulate them. Excellent communication skills for leading internal sessions and external engagements, customer interviews, demos, and stakeholder presentations. Enco
