What the role involves
The Prompting Company is hiring its first Account Executive to help take us from founder-led sales to a repeatable, scalable sales motion. This is a true founding role. You will own outbound, generate your own pipeline, run deals end-to-end, and work directly with the founder to define our ICP, messaging, and sales process from scratch. There is no SDR team, no inbound safety net, and no playbook handed to you — you’ll help write it. We’re building tools and systems that help companies get real, durable value from AI. Our customers are thoughtful, technical, and allergic to fluff. Your job is to reach the right people, start high-quality conversations, and close them. If you enjoy blank pages, high ownership, and being accountable for revenue, this role will feel energizing rather than stressful.
What the role involves
The Prompting Company is building the infrastructure layer for the AI internet. Today, people discover products through search engines. Tomorrow, discovery happens through AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. We help companies understand how they appear inside these AI systems and improve their visibility across AI-generated answers. We're looking for a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with customers to implement our product, understand their business goals, and ensure they get real measurable outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and revenue. You will work directly with founders, growth teams, and developers at companies using our platform. Your job is to understand their stack, integrate our technology into their workflows, and ensure we are measuring the metrics that matter. This is not a traditional sales role. It requires technical depth, curiosity, and the ability to translate complex systems into practical solutions. You will be one of the earliest members of the company and play a key role in shaping how our product is deployed and used.
What the role involves
We help companies get mentioned in ChatGPT by rebuilding the internet for AI agents. Our product helps companies like NVIDIA, Rho, and Exa get cited by ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You’ll join as a founding engineer to design experiments and systems that uncover how AI agents crawl, retrieve, and cite the web. You might be a fit if you’ve: • Worked with LLMs at the infrastructure or evaluation level (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, LangChain, etc.) • Or built edge systems at Cloudflare, Vercel, or Netlify and want to apply that expertise to AI agents • Shipped production systems in Next.js, TypeScript, or Go • Built or debugged telemetry and routing pipelines • Are curious about how LLMs choose what to see, cite, and trust
