Chief of Staff & Automation Lead About Shadeform At Shadeform, we're building the cleanest and easiest way to rent and use GPUs anywhere. Our GPU Cloud marketplace is used by the Fortune 100, startups, and more to find and deploy affordable, reliable compute. We're building a multi-cloud distributed compute platform to run inference and training workloads anywhere. We're a capital efficient organization, profitable, and focus on scaling by automating processes rather than growing headcount. We're looking for team members who are excited to build in this space and leverage AI as much as they can. The Role As our Chief of Staff & Automation Lead at Shadeform, you'll work directly with our founders to streamline our business while building systems that scale. You'll identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks across the company, helping us maintain our capital-efficient approach to growth. This hands-on role combines operational leadership with technical implementation—giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact as we scale our GPU cloud marketplace. What You'll Do Build automation solutions for business processes across sales, support, and operations Use AI tools to maximize efficiency across the organization Develop systems and workflows that allow us to scale without proportionally increasing headcount Design metrics and tracking systems to identify improvements Optimize workflows to enhance productivity and scalability Review and negotiate contracts with partners and service providers Work with external counsel to manage legal compliance and review documents Collaborate on financial planning and resource allocation Identify and mitigate operational and business risks Build relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and partners Ideal Requirements Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.) Strong operational background at a fast-growing tech startup Track record of implementing systems that improve efficiency Proficiency with AI tools, agents, and coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) Experience leveraging AI for workflow automation and operational improvements Excellent communication and project management skills Experience with legal document review and contract negotiation (preferred) Background in AI/ML infrastructure or cloud computing (preferred) What We Offer Competitive compensation with significant equity San Francisco based (remote possible) Off-sites and conferences Career development opportunities

We're building a multi-cloud distributed compute platform to run inference and training workloads anywhere with maximum efficiency. We're a capital-efficient, profitable organization focused on scaling through automation rather than headcount growth. We're looking for team members who are passionate about the AI infrastructure space and can leverage AI tools to maximize their impact. Responsibilities Identify and pursue high-value leads through strategic inbound and outbound approaches Build and nurture relationships with key partners in the AI and cloud ecosystem Sell the Shadeform on-demand platform to growing startups and enterprise clients Negotiate reserved cluster and instance term contracts across 20+ cloud providers Develop expertise in ML training, fine-tuning, and inference use cases to better serve clients Effectively communicate with technical audiences from founders to C-level executives Balance a strong inbound funnel while consistently engaging in outbound activities to reach decision-makers Maintain a professional sales process with solid CRM hygiene and documentation Qualifications 1+ years of experience selling GPUs, cloud infrastructure, or related technical products 2-5+ years of direct sales experience working with both startup and enterprise accounts Technical background or demonstrated success selling complex technical products Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and infrastructure Experience with consultative selling and solution-based approaches What We Offer Competitive compensation with significant equity opportunities Target $250,000 OTE with 50/50 base/commission structure San Francisco based with remote options available Regular team off-sites and industry conference attendance Clear path for career advancement and professional development Opportunity to shape the future of AI infrastructure Note: While the target compensation is $250,000 OTE, the final offer may be higher or lower based on a candidate's qualifications and experience. We're building a multi-cloud distributed compute platform to run inference and training workloads anywhere. We're looking for engineers who are excited to build in this space and leverage AI as much as they can. Role This role includes building out new core orchestrations and managed services on top of the Shadeform distributed compute layer along with enhancing and improving our existing infrastructure layer.
