What the role involves
I’m Neha, founder & CEO of JustAI. We started JustAI after seeing how broken lifecycle marketing really is - teams stitching together tools, rules, and dashboards, but still far from true personalization or real impact. We’re building an AI-native system that replaces manual workflows with agents that own decisions end-to-end. Today, companies like Pinterest, Notion, and Figma use JustAI to run lifecycle as an autonomous system. We’ve scaled quickly over the past year and are now entering the next phase of building a category-defining product. About the Role We’re hiring a Founding Product Lead to define and build the product alongside the founding team. This is not a traditional PM role. You won’t be writing specs for engineers to execute. You’ll be: Defining what we should build Prototyping and shipping it yourself (with AI + engineers) Working directly with customers to validate and iterate You’ll operate at the intersection of product, design, and growth, owning the product end-to-end. You’ll also work closely with designers to explore and define new AI-native interfaces, researching how workflows are changing and building experiences that feel intuitive in a world of agents, copilots, and automation. If you’ve ever wanted to build a product like a founder, this is that role. What You’ll Do 1. Own Product Direction (0→1) Define what we build and why - grounded in customer problems and market insight Translate ambiguous ideas into clear product bets Continuously refine product positioning and differentiation 2. Build, Not Just Spec Prototype experiences using AI tools, code, or no-code Work closely with engineering to ship fast and iterate faster Obsess over UX, flows, and how the product actually feels to use 3. Work Directly with Customers Spend time with enterprise customers to understand workflows and pain points Turn real use cases into product features and systems Validate ideas quickly through live usage, not just research 4. Shape the AI-Native Product Experience Design how agents behave, make decisions, and interact with users Balance power vs simplicity, automation vs control Partner deeply with design to research emerging AI interfaces and evolving user workflows Push the boundaries of what AI-first UX looks like 5. Drive Product-Led Growth Improve activation, onboarding, and core user journeys Identify opportunities to make the product more intuitive and self-serve Work closely with GTM to align product and messaging First 90 Days Day 0–30 Deep dive into product, customers, and current workflows Identify top 2–3 product gaps or opportunities Start prototyping and shipping small improvements Day 30–60 Work closely with the Eng research team to define 0-1 product innovation Establish product principles and direction for the team Shape product experience, pricing, packaging, with the GTM team About You Background 3–8 years in product, or a former founder / early startup operator Experience building 0→1 products in fast-moving environments What You Can Do Turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction Prototype and ship quickly (with or without engineers) Design intuitive, high-quality user experiences Work across product, engineering, and GTM seamlessly How You Think You act like a founder — high ownership, high urgency You’re a builder, not just a planner You’re AI-forward and excited to rethink how products are built You push boundaries and question default ways of doing things You care deeply about craft — how things feel, not just how they work Why This Role is Different Most product roles are about optimizing within an existing system. This role is about: Building a new category, not features Defining the product, not managing it Shipping fast, not coordinating roadmaps Reimagining UX for an AI-native world You won’t just be improving a product — you’ll be helping define what this product (and category) becomes. What You’ll Get Direct access to founder, customers, and

About the Role As a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist, you are the face of JustAI for our enterprise customers. You will partner with leading companies to design and run lifecycle marketing strategies from the ground up, and show them how to scale it using AI decisioning. In many ways, this role is like being a fractional lifecycle marketer across multiple enterprise companies. You’ll get exposure to different industries, user behaviors, and growth challenges, while being at the forefront of how lifecycle marketing is being redefined with AI. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, execution, and customer success: Acting as a trusted advisor to marketing leaders Building lifecycle systems that drive real revenue outcomes Translating customer needs into product and AI improvements If you enjoy thinking like a marketer, operating like a builder, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI — this role is for you. What You’ll Do 1. Own the Customer Relationship Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise accounts Build deep relationships with lifecycle, growth, and product teams Act as a strategic partner, not just support 2. Design Lifecycle Strategy (0→1) Work with customers to define their lifecycle marketing strategy from scratch Map user journeys across email, push, in-app, and more Identify high-impact opportunities across activation, engagement, and retention 3. Run Lifecycle with AI Help customers translate strategy into AI-driven campaigns using JustAI Push beyond “best practices” — experiment with personalization, sequencing, and decisioning at scale Move customers from manual campaigns → always-on, self-optimizing systems 4. Drive Adoption, Retention, and Expansion Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve outcomes Proactively solve problems before they surface — across strategy, execution, or tooling Expand usage across new use cases, teams, and channels 5. Close the Feedback Loop Dive into technical and usability challenges alongside customers Bring structured insights back to product and engineering Influence roadmap based on real customer needs What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) Day 0–30 Understand customer lifecycle strategies, current gaps, and goals Shadow key accounts and start contributing to strategy discussions Get hands-on with JustAI workflows and experimentation Day 30–60 Own 1–2 accounts end-to-end Design and launch lifecycle campaigns or experiments Drive measurable improvements in engagement or conversion Day 60–90 Become a trusted advisor to customers Scale lifecycle systems across channels and use cases Influence both customer strategy and internal product direction About You Background 2–6 years in lifecycle marketing, growth, consulting, or customer success Experience working with B2C products or high-scale user journeys What You Can Do Design lifecycle journeys across email, push, in-app, etc. Translate business goals into campaigns, experiments, and systems Analyze performance and turn data into clear recommendations Communicate complex ideas simply, to both marketers and technical teams How You Think You’re a problem solver first, you don’t stop at surface-level answers You’re AI-forward, excited to use new tools and rethink how marketing gets done You naturally push boundaries, not satisfied with incremental improvements You operate like a builder, proactive, resourceful, and action-oriented You care about outcomes (revenue, engagement), not just activity Why This Role is Different As a Lifecycle Marketing company, this role is pivotal in dogfooding the core product while providing other Lifecycle teams strategic support throughout. This role is about: Owning strategy, not just execution Building lifecycle systems, not just campaigns Driving revenue impact, not just adoption metrics Reimagining lifecycle marketing with AI, not following playbooks You’re not just helping customers use the product, you’re helping

About JustAI The future of Marketing is 1-1 hyper-personalized messaging. However, marketers spent multiple cycles setting up an "octopus" on CRM journey builders to manually write content for each persona and segment. Further, A/B testing is sequential and takes weeks to show results. We drift away from the old school A/B testing world to dynamic testing. Companies can test 100+ messaging variants within a month, let AI optimize traffic for winning variants, and walk away with insights without operational setup overhead for every A/B test. We put companies in a state of continuous "always-on" testing. The Role Own JustAI's voice across LinkedIn, X, and wherever else we choose to show up — and build the engine behind it. You won't just post. You'll design the cadence, the formats, the feedback loops, and the measurement. You'll turn our product, our customers, and our point of view into stories that travel. It's a big role for someone early in their career who treats content like a product: shipped, measured, iterated. What You'll Do Plan and publish daily across LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels. Build the engine — editorial calendar, repeatable formats, brief templates, review loops. Turn customer wins, product updates, and category shifts into stories worth reading. Track reach, engagement, and pipeline contribution; report weekly on what's working and what to change. Partner with founders, sales, and product to find the best raw material. Experiment with formats — short-form video, threads, carousels, newsletters — and double down on what performs. Who You Are A recent graduate or current student (0–2 years of experience); any academic background. A storyteller who can take a dry product update and make it land. Outcome-oriented — you measure success by reach, engagement, and pipeline, not by posts shipped. Data-driven — comfortable in analytics dashboards; reads the numbers before trusting the vibe. Systems-oriented — you build templates, calendars, and dashboards so the work scales beyond one person. Driven — self-directed, fast, and not afraid to publish in public. A strong writer in English. A portfolio (personal account, student publication, side project) is a plus. Bonus: grew a personal or brand account; fluent with AI tools for content; basic Figma/Canva and short-form video editing. What You'll Get Direct mentorship from founders and senior marketers. Full ownership of the content function from day one. Competitive compensation. A fast, 100% onsite team in San Francisco where learning compounds. How to Apply Respond to this posting with your resume and one of the following: A piece of content you wrote and shipped that you're proud of, plus a note on what it drove. A 200-word teardown of any brand's social presence — what's working, what isn't, what you'd change. About the interview 30 min chat with the CoS and founders 2 hour interview loop References Checks
