What we do Aglide combines an on-device browser agent and a browser extension to autonomously run web-based tasks inside our customers’ work applications. Today, it’s used for two key workflows: User login: Automating user sign-in to work accounts to give security teams visibility and policy enforcement. Lifecycle: Completing admin tasks inside applications (e.g., creating users) to save time, reduce human error, and tighten access control. Our platform lets non-technical users configure these workflows for any application. We are working with companies ranging from decacorn financial services scale-ups to public insurance companies. Their employees depend on Aglide to access mission-critical applications - from everyday SaaS tools to corporate bank accounts; while their security teams count on it to maintain compliance and defend against attackers - including, at times, state-sponsored threats. What you'll be doing Customer onboarding and configuration: Working directly with customers to configure Aglide for their applications - understanding their workflows, setting up automations, and making sure they get to value fast. Bug triage and diagnosis: Sitting closest to where things break. You'll be the first line of investigation when customers hit issues, combining sharp debugging instincts with a deep understanding of how the platform works end-to-end. Feedback loop to the team: Translating what you see in the field - friction, bugs, missing features, workarounds - into clear, actionable signal for the rest of the team. Platform improvements: Picking up engineering projects where you can make a real difference for a customer - shipping fixes or features, sometimes within hours of identifying the need. How you'll work In the field, with customers: You'll spend meaningful time with customers - on calls, in their workflows, and occasionally on-site - becoming a trusted extension of their team. Bridging product and engineering: You'll translate real-world friction into concrete improvements, and you'll have the technical ability to ship some of those improvements yourself. Creating magic moments: We pride ourselves on responding to customer needs with unusual speed. When a small change can unlock a deal or delight a customer, you'll be the one to make it happen - often within the same day. With high commitment: The role demands urgency. Going from "customer reported this" to "shipped and confirmed fixed" in minutes is something we do, and you'll help us keep doing it as we scale. The skills we’re looking for Must-have: 1+ years software experience: You've built or maintained production software and are comfortable reading, debugging, and making changes to a live codebase. Excellent debugging and empathy in equal measure: You can dig into a browser automation issue and explain what happened to a non-technical customer. Strong customer instincts: You listen carefully, ask the right questions, and spot the real problem behind what someone is describing. Bias for action: You don't wait for an approval. You identify something, fix it if you can, and escalate clearly if you can't. Nice to have: Experience with our stack: TypeScript, Postgres, Electron (macOS/Windows/Linux), and browser extensions. What you’ll be building Browser automation engine: Improving our core web-automation engine to make it more robust and allow it to perform more complex tasks. On-device browser environment: Developing the local environment to make it reliable and secure. Workflow builder: Streamlining the process of building new browser automations. Platform controls and analytics: Giving customers more control and visibility over when and how their browser automations run. End-to-end encrypted infrastructure: Strengthening and scaling the systems that keep sensitive customer data secure. How you’ll build it Independently and confidently: You’ll have significant ownership and autonomy - meaningfully shaping our priorities through the roadmap you influence and the problems you choose to solve. Collaborating with customers: You’ll regularly meet with customers to understand their goals, help them get more out of the platform, and walk them through the new features you’ve shipped for them. Inventing the playbook: We’re one of the few companies deploying “browser-using agents” for mission-critical work, because we’ve had to solve problems with no established best practice. You’ll continue this legacy - tackling novel challenges and turning solutions into repeatable systems. Across the stack: You’ll ship by contributing across everything - the dashboard, desktop app, backend services, and IaC configurations. With high commitment: You’ll go from problem identified to solution shipped in days, even if it means working long nights and weekends. Security architecture and threat modelling: Identifying vulnerabilities across the stack and designing systems that are resilient against real-world attack vectors, including those from sophisticated and state-sponsored actors. Compliance and audit tooling: Building the internal controls and logging infrastructure that support SOC 2 and other compliance frameworks our enterprise customers require. Platform controls and analytics: Giving customers more visibility and control over how their automations run — and giving our team the observability to detect and respond to anomalies. Secure product features: Contributing full-stack across our dashboard, desktop app, and backend to ship features that embed security into the product experience, not just the infrastructure. How you’ll build it Independently and confidently: You’ll have significant ownership and autonomy - meaningfully shaping our priorities through the roadmap you influence and the problems you choose to solve. Inventing the playbook: We're one of the few companies running browser-using agents for mission-critical work - and that comes with novel security challenges. You’ll help us maintain the reputation we have for our commitment to security in every product decision. Across the stack: You’ll ship by contributing across everything - the dashboard, desktop app, backend services, and IaC configurations - with a security lens at every layer. With high commitment: You’ll go from problem identified to solution shipped in days, even if it means working long nights and weekends. The skills we’re looking for Must-have: 3+ years software experience: Looking for people who have built production software for real users, with meaningful exposure to security-sensitive environments. Strong security fundamentals: A deep understanding of applied cryptography, zero-trust principles, secure software development, and common vulnerability classes (e.g. OWASP Top 10). Excellent debugging and systems thinking: Browser automation is messy, and our workflows run on end-user devices with end-to-end encrypted data - tracing a security issue requires understanding the whole system. Desire for ownership: One engineer is responsible end-to-end - meeting a customer, diagnosing issues, designing a fix, and shipping to production (sometimes within a week). N
