What the role involves

Aglide's browser agent platform is trusted by household-name fintechs and global enterprises to automate and secure the applications their employees depend on most. We've raised over $3.5M to go after this problem, and every day our platform is running thousands of mission-critical workflows.

Our founding engineers take on high-ownership roles, working directly with customers to invent new ways to securely and reliably automate web tasks - shaping product direction and building the core infrastructure for a category that's still being invented.

What we do

Aglide combines an on-device browser agent and a browser extension to autonomously run web-based tasks inside our customers’ work applications. Today, it’s used for two key workflows:

User login: Automating user sign-in to work accounts to give security teams visibility and policy enforcement.

Lifecycle: Completing admin tasks inside applications (e.g., creating users) to save time, reduce human error, and tighten access control.

Our platform lets non-technical users configure these workflows for any application. We are working with companies ranging from decacorn financial services scale-ups to public insurance companies.

Their employees depend on Aglide to access mission-critical applications - from everyday SaaS tools to corporate bank accounts; while their security teams count on it to maintain compliance and defend against attackers - including, at times, state-sponsored threats.

What you’ll be building

Browser automation engine: Improving our core web-automation engine to make it more robust and allow it to perform more complex tasks.

On-device browser environment: Developing the local environment to make it reliable and secure.

Workflow builder: Streamlining the process of building new browser automations.

Platform controls and analytics: Giving customers more control and visibility over when and how their browser automations run.

End-to-end encrypted infrastructure: Strengthening and scaling the systems that keep sensitive customer data secure.

How you’ll build it

Independently and confidently: You’ll have significant ownership and autonomy - meaningfully shaping our priorities through the roadmap you influence and the problems you choose to solve.

Collaborating with customers: You’ll regularly meet with customers to understand their goals, help them get more out of the platform, and walk them through the new features you’ve shipped for them.

Inventing the playbook: We’re one of the few companies deploying “browser-using agents” for mission-critical work, because we’ve had to solve problems with no established best practice. You’ll continue this legacy - tackling novel challenges and turning solutions into repeatable systems.

Focused on our surfaces: You’ll be focused on our end-user clients - desktop, extension and web dashboard.

With high commitment: You’ll go from problem identified to solution shipped in days, even if it means working long nights and weekends.

The skills we’re looking for

Must-have

  • 1+ years software experience: Looking for people who have built client software for real users.
  • Product minded: You’re obsessed with customer experience and building quality features.
  • Desire to work with customers: Understanding their problems, validating your solutions, and spotting product opportunities.
  • Desire for ownership: One engineer is responsible end-to-end - meeting a customer, diagnosing issues, designing a fix, and shipping to production (sometimes within a week).

Nice to have

Design taste: Strong visual taste and bring good design into your UIs.

Experience with our stack

  • TypeScript, Electron (macOS/Windows/Linux), and browser extensions.
  • Web automation knowledge: Hands-on experience with Puppeteer or Selenium (in production or as side projects).
  • Security experience: Building secure systems; comfort with zero-trust concepts and end-to-end encryption.
  • Identity/SSO exposure: Familiarity with products like Okta, 1Password, Entra ID, JAMF, or simil

About Aglide

Our mission is to secure access to every enterprise application. Aglide SSO lets security and IT teams connect non-standard and legacy apps - from banking portals to social media logins - directly to their existing identity provider (Okta, Entra, OneLogin, Ping, etc.), with no need for app-side integration. Once connected, these apps behave like any other IdP-managed service: policies like MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and audit logging just work, and end users access them through SSO only. Customers use Aglide to secure both individual apps (e.g., legacy banking portals, Discord, Squarespace) and sensitive shared accounts (e.g., AWS root, social media). Our agentic identity technology means Aglide works with any app out of the box - no integration catalog, no custom scripting. Today, companies from public fintechs like Gemini to media companies like The Motley Fool rely on Aglide’s zero-trust, end-to-end encrypted platform to complete their identity stack.
