The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by actively promoting and selling the Vori’s all-in-one system to mom & pop grocery store owners. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the grocery retail industry, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role reports into the CEO. Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential leads and target markets within the grocery retail sector. Develop and maintain a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives. Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at grocery store locations through regular communication and personalized interactions. Arrange and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the Vori system. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customized sales collateral and promotional materials to support sales efforts. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective clients. Provide ongoing customer support and assistance to ensure a seamless transition to the Vori.com system post-sale. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets and provide insights for future sales strategies. Represent Vori at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote brand awareness. Qualifications: Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the grocery retail industry, wholesale/CPG industry, or related field. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Job Description At Vori, Forward Deployed Engineers bridge the gap between customer systems and our modern grocery platform. You’ll work closely with onboarding managers to configure Vori for each retailer’s unique needs—reducing out-of-stocks, cutting shrink, and driving efficiency. As one of the Forward Deployed Data Engineers, you won’t just be implementing processes—you’ll be defining them from the ground up. You’ll create the playbooks, data pipelines, and integration systems that allow Vori to scale from our first customers to thousands of stores. This role is hands-on with data. You’ll wrangle item files and invoices from POS systems, back-office tools, and ERPs—in formats ranging from CSV and EDI to PDFs and even scanned paper—and connect them seamlessly into Vori. Fluency with SQL and data manipulation is essential. We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented engineers who thrive at the intersection of people, data, and infrastructure. Responsibilities: Understand the VoriOS system end to end and interdependencies between the system and its integration components Understanding Customer’s needs to define and configure system specifications Configure and maintain data mappings and reconciliation as an integral part of our operations team Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and work closely with Operations, Product, Engineering teams on how to improve workflows and systems end to end Qualifications 5+ years in Forward Deployed/Solutions/Data Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech Hybrid skillset — strong backend/data engineering fundamentals + ability to interact directly with customer IT teams. Domain awareness — familiarity with unstructured data, ETL processes and ML/OCR pipelines. Customer empathy — comfort in troubleshooting messy, high-pressure customer environments.
