Job Responsibilities: Design, train, and evaluate deep neural networks and LLMs Own experiments end-to-end: hypotheses, datasets, metrics, results Prototype fast; turn promising ideas into reliable systems Collaborate with engineering and design to make ideas real Write clearly: papers, docs, and crisp experiment reports Don't compromise between rigor and shipping fast See what needs to be done and do it Minimal qualifications: 2+ years in PhD program or in industry Experience training deep neural networks Proficiency in frameworks like Pytorch Published 1 or more papers in the subject of deep learning Ideal qualifications: Experience training LLMs, including SFT, RL-based techniques, etc. Experience in the domain of code generation At least 1 paper accepted into a top conference Proficiency in best software engineering practices Repeated experience formulating, structuring, and answering open ended questions Passionate about visual design or UI design; prior work in the space We've kept our team small by design. The ideal candidate: At least one of: Has done impactful work at a company known for its high-quality backend or agentic applications Majorly contributed to a notable open source project Has a seriously impressive portfolio Has experience building agentic applications with sophisticated harnesses and orchestration Has built the backend for an app that manages complex project state Knows that building a startup is really hard work and is fully committed Doesn’t compromise between quality and shipping fast See what needs to be done and does it Under promises, over delivers Know when to be outspoken or disagree and commit **We hold ourselves to these same principles.** We've kept our team small by design. The ideal candidate: Is comfortable in front of a camera and can be the face of our short-form brand channels Has experience sourcing and managing freelancers, creators, and agencies Has a knack for storytelling; taking the mundane and making it enthralling Is relentless in experimenting with hooks, formats, trends, narrative styles etc to build repeatable content formats that compound over time Owns end-to-end content creation: concept, script, shoot, edit, and publish Can turn features, work flows, and real use cases into relatable content Can systematically plan and deliver on a high-volume daily content calendar Rigorously tracks performance and can iterate quickly based on what’s working Lives and breadths content, trends, and algorithms Impeccable attention to detail, aesthetic sensibility, and storytelling ability Nice to have: Experience at a fast-growing startup Has grown their own or a brand’s presence across short-form platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) You see what needs to be done and do it Have solid video production and editing skills Have experience vibe coding (and/or) coding, designing, being a creative in other fields We’re a creative company at our core.
