What the role involves

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer. As a startup, we move fast and priorities shift quickly. We need someone comfortable working across the entire stack and taking on varied challenges. Flexibility and adaptability is key. You'll own and develop new features from conception to deployment, ensuring reliability and scalability across our platform. In this role, you will Build product features end-to-end, from backend APIs to frontend interfaces Keep the codebase maintainable through solid architecture, refactoring, and testing Work closely with design and product people to deliver smooth, intuitive user experiences Instrument features and gather the right metrics to help the team make informed decisions You may be a good fit if you have (Required) React/Vite experience. Senior Backend Software Engineer

What the role involves

In this role, you will We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer passionate about building reliable, scalable integrations with third-party systems. Subsets integrates with many external APIs from major CRM and marketing platforms, including HubSpot, Braze, and Sailthru. You'll own and develop new features from conception to deployment, ensuring reliability and scalability across our integration ecosystem. This includes Build and maintain backend services that integrate with third-party CRM APIs. Implement and improve data sync processes between our system and external CRMs. Improve Subsets’ depth of integrations with third-party CRM APIs to unlock additional functionality for our customers.  Ensure integrations are reliable and data stays correct by adding proper validation, monitoring, and error handling. About  We are seeking a driven Senior Data Engineer (potentially in a Lead role) to join our early team at Subsets as we build the future of AI-driven Subscription growth for CRM and Lifecycle teams. As one of the early team members, you will play a crucial role in the company, developing key infrastructure and directly contributing to the shaping of our product. You will collaborate with our software engineers and data scientists to build a scalable data infrastructure that powers our AI-driven platform. As a Data Engineer at Subsets, you will work directly with our customers' data and have the opportunity to shape and impact the product experience for millions of subscribers (our customers’ customers). In this role, you will Work directly with the founding team and our software engineers. Design, develop, and manage our scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Monitor and optimize our current data pipelines (we are moving a lot of data!). Work in a lean, high-performing team where you will have a significant impact on the product and assume numerous responsibilities. Bring your opinions and experiences on how to scale our current setup from 10+ customers to 100+ customers.   You may be a good fit if you have A professional background in Data Engineering, preferably with an overlap to Software Engineering. Have prior experience building ETL pipelines.  Hands-on experience in SQL, dbt, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or similar. Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or similar. Experience working with Docker, Terraform, Python, or similar technologies. Experience in modeling data to be consumed by machine learning pipelines. An analytical mindset to help define what data are relevant in a specific use-case context.
