What the role involves
Skyvern is an open-source AI agent that automates anything in a browser. YC-backed. Growing fast. Here's what makes this AE role different: the leads come to you. We're inbound-led. Developers try the open-source product, companies realize they need enterprise features, and they reach out. Your job is to turn that intent into closed revenue—fast. The work Own the full sales cycle from inbound lead to signed contract Run demos that actually show the product (not slide decks—real AI agents doing real tasks) Qualify hard and move fast. Our sales cycles are weeks, not quarters. Work closely with founders and engineering to close technical buyers Build repeatable playbooks as you learn what works Shape our GTM motion while it's still early enough to influence it Why this role is interesting Inbound pipeline. You're not cold-calling—you're talking to people who already want what we sell. Short cycles. Deals close in weeks. You'll get reps fast and see results fast. Early-stage, high growth. Territory is wide open. Comp upside reflects that. Technical product, technical buyers. Conversations are interesting, not scripted. Small team, real influence. Your feedback shapes product, pricing, positioning—not just quota. You You've closed deals at a startup before. You know what "figuring it out" looks like. Comfortable selling to technical buyers—engineering leads, founders, ops teams. You can demo a product, not just talk about it. Bonus if you can hold your own in technical conversations. Fast mover. You don't let deals stall. You find the blocker and fix it. Process-minded but not process-dependent. You build the playbook as you go. Hungry. Early-stage AE roles reward people who want to win. Apply Tell us about deals you've closed—what you sold, who you sold to, how you got it done. Quota attainment matters. So does how you think about sales.
What the role involves
Skyvern is an open-source AI agent that automates anything in a browser. YC-backed. Growing fast. We have a product developers get excited about when they see it. The problem: not enough developers have seen it. We need someone who can make Skyvern impossible to ignore. Someone who understands the product deeply enough to demo it, explain it, and make content that actually resonates with technical audiences. The work Create YouTube content—demos, tutorials, deep dives—that developers actually watch Produce short-form content for Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, wherever devs scroll Build and own Skyvern's social presence from the ground up Engage authentically with the open-source and AI community (not just broadcast—actually participate) Dream up and execute viral campaigns. We're an AI agent that can browse the internet—there's a lot to work with. Experiment constantly. Double down on what works, kill what doesn't. Why this role is interesting The product demos well. AI agents doing browser tasks is inherently visual and satisfying to watch. Open source = built-in community. You're not selling—you're building genuine relationships. Small team, big canvas. No brand guidelines committee. You'd define the voice. You'd be early at a company in a category (AI agents) that's about to get very loud. First-mover advantage matters. You You've built an audience before—your own or someone else's. Show us. You can explain technical products without dumbing them down or losing people. Comfortable on camera. You don't need a production team to ship a good video. Strong writer. Your tweets and posts don't sound like marketing. Plugged into the AI/dev tools world. You know what's resonating and why. Scrappy. You'll do the editing, the posting, the replies, the A/B tests—whatever it takes. Bonus: you've written code. You can actually run Skyvern, not just talk about it. Apply Send your best content—videos, threads, posts, campaigns. Follower counts matter less than quality. Show us something you made that you think is genuinely good.

As our ICPs and GTM motion evolve, we expect to test several segments, so you'll have real influence over targeting and messaging from day one. What you'll do Own and mature our AI outbound engine: review, tune, and approve AI-generated research and sequences, and improve the process itself over time Run high-touch outbound where automation alone won't book the meeting Receive and prioritize inbound signals from our visitor-intent pixels and product analytics, and decide how best to route and nurture them Help develop and refine our ICPs and outbound plays as we test new segments Qualify against our ICP and book meetings that AEs/founders accept Run experiments on messaging, sequencing, and targeting, and document what wins Keep CRM clean and report pipeline honestly You're a fit if you Have ~2 to 4 years in SDR/BDR/outbound (or a standout 1 to 2 with proven numbers) Write clearly and persuasively, and can hold a buyer's attention Are genuinely fluent with AI tools and want to operate and improve a fleet, not grind a dialer Thrive in ambiguity and bias toward action Nice to have: SaaS/enterprise sales experience, healthcare exposure, and hands-on experience with modern outbound, enrichment, and CRM tools. Milestones First 30 days: ramped on our ICP and product First 90 days: producing a predictable sourced-pipeline run-rate First 12 months: a mature, documented outbound engine and a steady stream of qualified pipeline Compensation $60K base / $90K OTE + equity, with uncapped variable and accelerators Equity Why join Be the first SDR at a company building something genuinely new. You'll work directly with the founding team, operate at the frontier of AI-driven selling, and grow alongside a fast-growing business, with real room to grow professionally as you succeed.
