Act as a logistics expert, guiding leads through the process and linking them with the best options that align with their requirements. Cultivate deep relationships with clients across the warehousing, transportation, and distribution spaces. Requirements Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Responsibilities Take ownership of scoping and implementing new projects & features in a full stack Rails webapp Lead implementation of upgrading our core product to the next level or releasing new products Establish and guide the architecture of several web applications Build leverage: a one-week task today should be a 10 minute task next year Proactively find ways to improve the codebase & team workflows Research and lead adoption of new systems/technologies Mentor junior engineers & constructively challenge senior engineers to achieve better outcomes Maintain a high technical bar via code reviews, testing, and sound coding practices Collaborate with internal designers and engineers as needed Requirements 5+ years software engineering experience 2+ years experience working with Ruby on Rails and REST APIs Non-zero experience writing frontend code. Ability to work as a fullstack Rails engineer. You don’t need to be an expert from day 1, but by day 90 you need to become proficient with the full Rails stack including Hotwire/Turbo/Stimulus.
