What SafetyKit does
SafetyKit's AI agents do the dirty work for big tech and finance companies so humans don't have to. Today companies rely on armies of low-paid outsourced humans to protect their platforms from fraud, harassment, and crime. It’s super important work, but the jobs are difficult and sometimes traumatizing, and it’s impossible to keep up. Our mission is to end this manual toil. We learned this domain first-hand at Stripe and Airbnb, where first we built software for human reviewers, and then built models to replace them. We’re a group of engineers from Stripe, Meta, Netflix, MIT, and Princeton that love language models and unironically love B2B SaaS. We know the economy is going to be rearranged over the next 4 years and we want to be in the driver’s seat. We build vertical AI that works and have some of the world’s largest companies as paying customers. Patreon, Eventbrite, Upwork, Character.ai, Substack, Faire, along with a $10B+ marketplace, a $100B+ payments company, and more rely on SafetyKit in production.

What the role involves
About SafetyKit SafetyKit’s mission is to stop fraud and abuse on the world’s largest platforms. We’re a young startup but are already trusted as a critical defense for some of the world’s largest companies like Etsy, Patreon and Discord. Companies spend hundreds of billions of dollars on this problem today. But it doesn’t work — systems are fragmented, models are inaccurate, human review bogs down operations, and it all costs a painful amount of money. We saw this firsthand building anti-fraud systems at Stripe and Airbnb. SafetyKit unifies this entire ecosystem into one platform that actually works. We’re a fast-growing Series A startup backed by Y Combinator, Ribbit Capital, First Round Capital. We’ve raised $27M, are a 19-person team (mostly engineering), and operate 100% in-person at our San Francisco office. The Role As an Account Executive (AE), you’ll own the full sales cycle for SafetyKit’s enterprise customers, from first conversation through close and expansion. You’ll work closely with BDRs and Engineering to convert strong demand signals and outbound opportunities into long-term customers. This role is about running thoughtful sales processes, and helping some of the world’s largest platforms modernize how they fight fraud and abuse. You’ll sell to technical, operational, and executive stakeholders, often navigating multi-threaded buying committees and high-impact pilots. Success in this role directly shapes our revenue trajectory and informs how we scale our enterprise sales motion. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end sales process for qualified inbound, PQL-driven, and outbound opportunities, from discovery through close. Run deep discovery to understand customer pain points, existing tooling, technical constraints, and decision criteria. Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles including security, legal, policy, product, engineering, and executive buyers. Partner with Engineering to scope, run, and close technical pilots and evaluations. Feed structured GTM and product feedback back to the team based on live customer conversations. Requirements 3–7+ years of experience as an Account Executive selling enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, or AI-native products - particularly to marketplaces, payments and financial services verticals. Demonstrated track record of closing complex, high-ACV deals with multi-threaded buying committees. Comfortable selling to technical and operational stakeholders, including engineering and product leaders. Experience supporting technical pilots, proofs of concept, or evaluations in partnership with product teams. Highly organized and metrics-driven, with strong forecasting and CRM discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Willingness to work in-office 5–6 days per week in San Francisco. About You You're obsessed with your work. Hungry & self-motivated with a true ownership mindset. A natural problem solver with analytical rigor and strong EQ. An exceptional communicator who builds trust and long-term relationships with customers. Able to zoom out on strategy while diving into details when needed. A team player excited to build something big from the ground up.

We’ve raised $27M, are a 19-person team (mostly engineering), and operate 100% in-person at our San Francisco office. The Role As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll sit at the front line of our go-to-market motion and be the bridge between emerging product usage and our enterprise sales pipeline. Your mission is simple: find high-potential buyers, understand their challenges, and turn qualified leads into opportunities for the Sales team. You’ll mix research, curiosity, and product insight to reach the right people at the right time and build a predictable pipeline for landmark enterprise customers. You’ll own two complementary motions: Outbound across our buyer personas and accounts: personalized outreach, stakeholder mapping, and tailored assets. PQL qualification & account research: Spot real product-usage signals and qualifying an account and buyer check to confirm technical and business fit, and turn strong signals into pilot conversations or sales-ready meetings. The opportunity is foundational to our Sales motion and successful candidates will grow responsibilities into an Account Executive (AE) based on pipeline performance. Responsibilities Drive new opportunities by executing hyper-personalized, multi-threaded outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, content touches) and creative engagement (short technical videos, interactive snippets, etc.) Run the weekly cadence to target stakeholders, launch sequences, and deliver concise intelligence briefs. Book and qualify high-value meetings and pilots for AEs using a strict qualification checklist (use case, technical fit, timeline, budget, decision-makers). Maintain exemplary CRM hygiene and campaign attribution. Feed direct product and GTM feedback: inbound quality, friction points, and emerging buyer personas. Iterate weekly using performance data and AE feedback to improve reply→meeting and meeting→opp conversion. Requirements 1–3+ years in a BDR/SDR role at an enterprise SaaS or AI-native company with demonstrable outbound/ABM results and/or experience pairing signals to revenue. Proven ability to generate meaningful pipeline. Comfortable engaging technical and operations stakeholders (legal, security, product, policy, engineering). Strong account research and stakeholder mapping: able to produce a one-page account brief quickly, leveraging available tooling. Exceptional written outreach and personalization skills at scale. Metrics-driven, disciplined with CRM hygiene, and comfortable iterating on plays. Willingness to work in-office 5–6 days/week in San Francisco. Nice to haves Experience selling to payments, marketplaces or large platforms. Background in Trust & Safety, Risk, or Fraud tooling. Track record supporting technical pilots/POCs or RFP/RFI processes. Exposure to developer-facing outreach or technical snippets/interactive demos. About You You're obsessed with your work. Hungry & self-motivated with a true ownership mindset. A natural problem solver with analytical rigor and strong EQ. An exceptional communicator who builds trust and long-term relationships with customers. Able to zoom out on strategy while diving into details when needed. We’ve raised $27M, are a 19-person team (mostly engineering), and operate 100% in-person at our San Francisco office. The Role As our Foundational GTM Growth Lead (title flexible!), you’ll build and own SafetyKit’s Marketing motion from zero to one. This is a highly hands-on role at the intersection of events, brand-driven growth, and market intelligence, with a direct line to revenue. Your mandate: create awareness where our buyers actually pay attention, turn that attention into high-quality demand, and arm the Sales team with insight and activation that makes outreach land. This is a special time in our history — joining now means owning GTM Growth across the stack, touching every part of our sales, marketing, and product systems. What You’ll Own 1. Brand, Social, & Distribution-Led Growth (Primary Near-Term Focus) Build SafetyKit’s presence across social channels (primarily LinkedIn and X), with a focus on credible, opinionated, founder- and operator-led content. Build a consistent brand voice that resonates with fraud and risk leaders. Leverage your personal or professional network and distribution to amplify reach. Manage logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and on-site execution. Partner with Sales to design events that drive pipeline (guest lists, pre-event outreach, in-event activation, post-event follow-up). Develop repeatable event playbooks that scale as we grow. 3. Design targeted activations and content (event hooks, outbound themes, social proof, narratives) that directly support BDR outreach. Partner with BDRs to continuously improve message-market fit and outbound effectiveness. Create and package high-signal content assets (talking points, short-form posts, snippets, one-pagers, event follow-ups, narrative frameworks) designed specifically to support outbound and warm-up touches. Translate market insight into clear messaging guidance for BDRs: what to say, when to say it, and why it resonates. Responsibilities Plan and execute high-impact events that directly support pipeline creation. Build SafetyKit’s external narrative through social, content, and community presence. Translate market insights into actionable GTM plays for Sales. Collaborate with BDRs and AEs to align campaigns, events, and outbound motions. What the role involves
Find your maximum velocity. SafetyKit is group of engineers, designers, and operators committed to deploying AI into the world's largest companies as quickly as possible. It's going to happen, and we're not going to watch it from the sidelines. We're obsessive builders. We couldn't stop coding if we tried. We chose SafetyKit over cushy big tech jobs because we're tired of moving at the speed of consensus. We want to know what our maximum velocity is. We're not afraid of big customers, high scale, and high expectations. We know that impact is denominated in dollars — we care about creating real, visible economic change inside the world's largest companies. We want to learn from the best. We're former and future founders. Some of us are pedigreed (Stripe, Netflix, MIT, Yale), some of us aren't. Some of us are 14-year staff engineers, some of us are on day one. It's working — some of the biggest companies in the world depend on the work we do every day. But it's still early. 99.9% of the value we'll ever produce is ahead of us. If this sounds like the life you want to live, let's talk. What we care about Speed up. The future is waiting on us. Don’t do tomorrow what you can do today. Find the minimum effective dose and move on to the next problem. Obsess. Reality has a surprising amount of detail. Go deeper. Love your work — even the stuff that other people find unbearably boring Decouple and trust. We are a tightly-bound team of autonomous operators. We maintain a high bar so we can move fast with high trust. We support and teach each other every day. Some of our past interns Built AI agents to autonomously investigate signup flows Built a classifier to determine if marketplace products are drop-shipped Built a classifier to identify IP violations deployed on some of the world’s largest marketplaces About you You love language models. You code and ship at very high velocity. You aren’t scared to use codegen models to code and ship even faster. You act like an owner in everything you do. People tell you you pick things up unusually quickly. You care about your work and you care about moving fast. A lot. You know more than you need to know. You have an insatiable curiosity.
