What the role involves

Great products are made by customer-obsessed teams. Cybersecurity is everywhere. It's impacting everyone, everyday, and it's becoming the number one risk to any organization, whether it's a small business or a big firm. Yet, the cybersecurity culture in most companies is a disaster. Hackers are leveraging this by targeting the weakest link: the employees. We're on a mission to fix that. About Riot We're a product-first team on a mission to help grow the cybersecurity culture. We want to instill cybersecurity good practices to employees in a way that's actually effective, and entertaining enough so that employees don't feel like they're working. Think Duolingo but for cybersecurity. We created a platform to easily rollout a cybersecurity awareness program: the platform sends chat-based 4-minutes long courses to teams. Following the courses, the other side of the platform simulates phishing attacks, to prepare employees to face hackers — but in a safe environment. Created in 2020, Riot has raised $15m with top-notch investors (Y Combinator, Base10, Funders Club and Frst Capital), and is now protecting more than 100,000 employees in over 500 companies (including Intercom, Deel and Deezer) all over the world. About the role You will be join the sales team. Your main focus will be to engage qualified prospects, to demo the platform, to provide technical assistance, to successfully navigate a proof of concept and finally to negotiate contracts. It is a fast-paced role that fits high energy and smart sales people. If you want to join a young team with international growth potential, this role is for you. About you You're a doer. That's core to Riot's culture. You have a previous experience as an account executive or in business development — if you don’t have any of those, you must be the next Messi or Ronaldo in sales. You have a full professional proficiency in English and native in French. You have advanced closing skills and talented in creating trust. You have a successful track record of net new business sales and outbound prospecting. You're a team-player at heart. You're an explorer and don't mind getting out of your comfort zone. You don't need to be an expert on cybersecurity, but you need to be motivated by the mission. You're based in Paris or you're willing to relocate. Want to apply for the job? We don't need a resumé or a motivation letter, just apply! We're big believers in moving fast, that means we favor a short interview process.

We're a product-first team on a mission to help grow the cybersecurity culture 🔐 We want to instill cybersecurity good practices to employees in a way that's actually effective, and entertaining enough so that employees don't feel like they're working. Think Duolingo but for cybersecurity. We created a platform to easily rollout a cybersecurity awareness program: the platform sends chat-based 4-minutes long courses to teams. Following the courses, the other side of the platform simulates phishing attacks, to prepare employees to face hackers, but in a safe environment. Created in 2020, Riot has raised $45m with leading investors (Y Combinator, Left Lane, Base10, Funders Club and First Capital) and is now protecting more than 2,000,000 employees in over 2,000 companies (including Intercom, Deel, and Deezer) all over the world. About the role You will report directly to Benjamin, our co-founder and CEO. Your mission is to launch and own the US market, from first sales to a fully operational team. You will define how Riot goes to market in the US, close the first deals yourself, recruit the sales team, and set the foundation for Riot to become a market leader in the largest cybersecurity market in the world. Riot has a proven business model and a product customers love. We grow 100% YoY, with $20M+ in revenue across 23 countries at the start of 2026. We're looking for someone to replicate this success and help us crack the US market. We're already at $0.5M with a few strong logos. Your job: make it a success, with solid foundations to build on. What will you do 🤝 Launch the US market Build and execute Riot's US go-to-market strategy from scratch. Localize positioning, pricing, and sales motion for the US market. Identify the highest-leverage acquisition channels: direct sales, events, partnerships, paid acquisition. Own and carry a US ARR target from day one: close early deals yourself while we build the sales team alongside you. Drive pipeline through a mix of outbound, inbound, and network. Build the team Recruit, structure, and lead Riot's US sales team. Set performance frameworks, rituals, and a culture of accountability. Act as the senior leadership presence on the ground for recruiting and culture. Be the bridge to European HQ Funnel US market intelligence and customer feedback to product and marketing. Work closely with cofounders, sales leadership, and the team based in Paris (tech, product, customer success) to align strategy and resources. Represent Riot externally with Benjamin: press, events, customer summits, partner meetings. Who you are The profile in one sentence: a hands-on sales leader with the product instincts of a founder and the GTM range to build a market from zero. Former founder or builder mindset: you've started something, or built a team/market from scratch inside a startup. You know what it takes to create something from nothing Sales-first: you don't just design the sales motion, you close deals yourself. Product and marketing aware: you can write a 1-pager, craft a pitch deck, and iterate on messaging. You understand the product deeply enough to sell it creatively. GTM track record: you've scaled a B2B SaaS market in the US, ideally from early revenue to meaningful ARR. No cybersecurity background required. A leader people grow with: you've managed teams and know how to get the best out of people. Humble enough to listen, strong enough to set direction. It will be a cultural fit if 🫂 You're a doer: not afraid to get your hands dirty and get things done You have high standards: expect performance to be nothing short of the best You are an enthusiastic at heart
