Role Description We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join our team and own the data infrastructure that powers Revamp’s personalization engine. This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Francisco. As our first dedicated infrastructure hire, you’ll design, build, and maintain the systems that allow us to ingest, transform, and act on millions of customer events in real time. Your work will drive everything from automated message generation to model training, and you’ll collaborate directly with the founding team to ship high-impact features at speed. Responsibilities Build and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL, API, event-based) to support millions of events monthly Architect and optimize backend systems using Python, Postgres, and Temporal Lead infrastructure projects end-to-end, from planning through deployment Work closely with the product team to develop data-powered features Improve observability, scalability, and performance across our systems Help define engineering best practices and shape Revamp’s technical roadmap You May Be a Good Fit If You 4+ years of backend or data engineering experience (ideally at a high-growth startup or data/AI-focused company) Take ownership of problems from start to finish and are eager to learn whatever you need to succeed Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures Bonus: experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms Even Better If You Have founded a startup or worked as an early engineer Have built AI-powered products Have deep experience with React, TypeScript, and Python Benefits Medical, dental, and vision benefits Take what you need vacation policy Daily lunches, dinners and snacks in the office to keep you at your best Competitive salary + equity package Clear path to technical leadership as we scale

Our product already outperforms traditional playbooks, and now we need someone who can do the same for our brand. The Role We are looking for a Vibe Marketer, someone who lives in the cultural current and knows when to ride it. Not a social media manager. Not a corporate copywriter. A person who feels the shift hours before everyone else and turns it into a post, a tweet, a landing page, or a campaign. This is a fractional, part-time role. It is ideal for someone looking to build a career in marketing and grow with a startup. You will be the one keeping our socials alive and our website fresh. You will notice when the feed feels dead, when the tone is too safe, and when we need to punch through the noise. What You’ll Do Spot cultural moments and translate them into sharp, human posts across LinkedIn, X, and TikTok Update our website with fresh copy, case studies, and pages that feel alive, not corporate Distill product launches, customer wins, or industry news into stories people want to share Work directly with the founders with fast feedback and fast turnaround Experiment, with some hits and some misses.
