Job Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, providing strategic direction to ensure the company’s financial health, sustainability, and growth. This role requires a seasoned financial leader with a proven track record in technology, finance or SaaS companies, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with ramani’s mission and growth objectives. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support operational and strategic goals. Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency for internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies. Lead fundraising efforts, including equity financing, debt arrangements, and investor relations, to fuel company expansion. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and audits, in Ramani’s operating countries. Leverage financial data and analytics to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiencies across the organization. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations teams to drive revenue growth and optimize resource allocation. Represent the company externally with stakeholders, including investors, banks, and other financial partners. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role (CFO or equivalent) at a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company. Experience managing investor relations and working with venture capital or private equity stakeholders. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for driving measurable results. Experience scaling a company through high-growth phases is a plus.

Job Purpose: The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will lead Ramani’s risk management strategy, leveraging advanced data science, machine learning, and AI to safeguard the digital lending platform. Based in New York with hybrid flexibility, this C-suite role will harness cutting-edge analytics to drive risk modeling, portfolio optimization, and mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities: Risk Strategy and Oversight Develop an enterprise-wide risk management strategy for digital lending, using data-driven insights to balance growth and stability. Partner with tech teams to integrate ML algorithms into credit scoring, underwriting, and collections for improved efficiency. Regulatory Compliance and Governance Ensure compliance with U.S. and international standards (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR) and Tanzanian regulations, using automated monitoring tools. Leverage data analysis to strengthen internal controls against fraud, operational errors, and cybersecurity threats. Serve as the key point of contact for regulators, auditors, and investors on risk analytics and reporting. Leadership and Technical Innovation Lead a team of data scientists, actuaries, and risk analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and analytical excellence.
