Parsewise
Multi-document processing for your risk teams, AI agents, pipelines
What Parsewise does
Parsewise provides multi-document processing and analysis that you can embed in your own product. Operations teams use our platform for oversight and control over their fleet of AI agents, and our MCP to make Claude work at scale with traceability. Tech teams use our API to replace complex processing pipelines resolving values across documents. We help customers assess complex risk at scale: manage casualty, specialty, KYC, and financial risks, so teams can act faster and defend their decisions with confidence.

What the role involves
Location: Central London (in person) We are solving one of the biggest and most painful knowledge worker tasks: taking pieces of information from various documents and putting them into another system. We are hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineer to put Parsewise into the hands of insurance/ reinsurance customers and make it deliver value from day one. This is a hybrid role for someone who can sit with an underwriter or broker in the morning, understand their workflow and their tech stack, and build the core platform in the afternoon. You will be the bridge between our customers and our platform, flexing between customer deployments and building the product. We are an ex-Palantir and ex-Bain founding team, looking for ambitious, smart, nice people to join us. YC, General Advance, Network VC, and angels from Palantir, OpenAI, McKinsey, and Capital Group are backing us. Parsewise Parsewise is a YC-backed startup that’s live with leading companies in insurance and reinsurance. Underwriters, brokers, and risk teams use Parsewise to read full submission and claims files end-to-end, turn them into structured, source-linked, decision-ready data, and surface the key risk signals in a dedicated UI that fits their workflow. We are growing a team of driven, high-ownership people to stay at the cutting edge of this technology wave and deliver on its promise for regulated buyers. We’re building the most reliable and scalable pipelines for unstructured data. Beyond the document ingestion and understanding that out-of-the-box LLMs can solve, we give business users a level of AI support that no chatbot can provide, tackling the hardest parts of the technology head-on: hallucinations, explainability, and scalability. The Role As our Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own the customer journey from first deployment to durable value. You will: Onboard new insurance and reinsurance customers onto Parsewise, from first data ingestion to first decision-ready output. Deploy and configure the platform inside customer environments, integrating with their stacks and workflows. Translate messy, real-world underwriting, claims, and broking documents into working Parsewise configurations, often with the customer in the room. Flex between go-to-market and deployment: join commercial conversations, scope use cases, run demos and pilots, then build the deployment that proves them out. Bring the lessons learned with the customer and build them directly into the product. Technology changes rapidly, so we value quick learning very highly. You will work across our stack: Python, TypeScript, Terraform, AWS, Vercel, and PostgreSQL, plus the customer systems we integrate into. What We Value Empathy & Collaboration: You are an effective communicator, sharp, and a team player. Problem-Solving: You approach challenges with a first-principles mindset and prioritize deep understanding before implementation. A lot of what we build does not have an industry standard to follow. Ownership: You are self-motivated and take responsibility for delivering high-quality work without needing oversight. We are a small and growing team, and you will be expected to take ownership. Non-conventional thinking/ risk-taking: You are eager to take calculated, smart risks. What We Are Looking For A strong engineering foundation: you can write production-quality code (Python and/or TypeScript), work with APIs and data, and integrate software into a customer's stack. Go-to-market skills: You are comfortable in commercial conversations, scoping use cases, and moving a pilot forward. Proven ability to ship high-quality work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. A passion for learning and a willingness to dive deep into both technical and domain challenges. In-office by default (we’re a fun bunch + snacks), with the option for occasional remote work. 2+ years of commercial (re)insurance experience, with real fluency in how underwriting, broking, and claims actually work. What the role involves
Founding GTM at Parsewise Location: Central London (in person) We are building the agentic infrastructure for risk decisions with real complexity and consequences. We are hiring our first commercial hire to build the go-to-market engine at Parsewise. This is a founding role for someone who can build outbound sequences in the morning, run a demo with a Head of Underwriting at lunch, and write the case study that lands the next customer in the afternoon. You will own the full commercial motion: marketing, sales, and everything in between, and build the playbook that scales us from our existing enterprise customers to many more. The Role As our Founding GTM hire, you will build the commercial engine from the ground up. We already have enterprise customers and a strong product-market pull. Your job is to turn that into a repeatable, scalable motion. You will: Build and own the outbound sales pipeline: identify target accounts, craft outreach, book meetings, and close deals across insurance, reinsurance, and adjacent markets. Run the full sales cycle from first touch to signed contract — demos, pilots, proposals, and negotiations. Create the marketing foundation: positioning, messaging, content (case studies, one-pagers, LinkedIn, email sequences), and demand generation that drives inbound interest. Develop the GTM playbook: define ICP, map buyer personas, build sales collateral, and establish the processes that let Parsewise scale its commercial efforts beyond you. Work closely with the team to translate customer feedback and market signals into product direction. Represent Parsewise at industry events, conferences, and in the London market, building relationships that open doors. This is a 0-to-1 role. You won't inherit a playbook; you'll write it. That means you need to be comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and doing whatever it takes to move the number. Non-conventional thinking/ risk-taking: You are eager to take calculated, smart risks. What We Are Looking For Proven ability to build a pipeline and close deals, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or a technical product. Experience building GTM motions from scratch: you've written the outbound sequences, built the collateral, and figured out what works through experimentation. Strong written and verbal communication: you can write a compelling cold email, run a sharp demo, and produce content that resonates with senior buyers. Co
