About the Role As a BDR, you'll play a pivotal role not only in traditional BDR tasks but also in shaping our strategic direction while modeling the path from BDR. This includes contributing to our playbooks, fostering collaboration across growth, marketing, sales, and product teams, and contributing to the foundation of our sales strategies. This role is for an ambitious individual with hustle and grit. At an early-stage startup, things are always changing. We’re looking for a candidate who thrives in an unpredictable environment and can “run through walls” to tackle seemingly impossible challenges. What You’ll Do Source new sales opportunities mainly through outbound strategy by hitting certain activity metrics A/B test messaging and generate ideas for new ways to drive pipeline Become a product expert across our platform and understand our competitor landscape Maintain and update accurate records in CRM What You Need 6+ months of experience in a sales, SDR, BDR, or outbound prospecting role Strong written and verbal communication skills Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline goals Ability to work within undefined and unrefined processes Deep interest in understanding business challenges and how to solve them Experience with Sales Engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes Nice to Haves Prior experience with customer-facing and/or sales roles Experience at a high-growth startup Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university OneSchema Compensation & Benefits OTE: $80K - $100K (base + commission) depending on experience Competitive compensation with meaningful stock options Medical, Dental and Vision plans Daily lunch in office Monthly commuter cost reimbursement 401k Unlimited PTO and sick days Parental leave Quarterly wellness budget OneSchema is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience. Our eng culture is in-person, and this role will be based in our SF HQ office 5x per week. About the role We’re looking for a full-time Head of Engineering. As a member of the Leadership team, you will report directly to our co-founder and CEO. You will own the engineering roadmap, lead all software engineers at OneSchema, and set the pace, culture, and technical vision for the team. What you’ll do Technical Vision & Roadmap: Translate company goals into a clear, ambitious engineering strategy; make build-vs-buy and architectural decisions that balance speed with long-term leverage. Team building + coaching: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a diverse team of 5 → 20+ engineers across full-stack, product, infra disciplines; foster the extreme ownership and rapid learning culture that defines OneSchema. AI & Platform Leadership: Guide the evolution of our React / TypeScript / Rust / Ruby stack and our usage of foundation models for coding and vision-language agents; own scalability, security, and compliance for Fortune-500 data workloads. Execution Excellence: Establish lightweight but effective processes (planning, code health, on-call, incident response) that keep quality high while shipping daily. Who you are Essentials: 10+ years of professional software-engineering experience, including 3+ years managing and leading multi-team orgs in high-growth startups or fast growing teams. Proven record scaling products from 0 → 1 → N, ideally in data-heavy domains. Strong technical background in data-heavy applications and distributed systems  Passion for working on-site in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment; comfortable juggling strategy and execution work. Track record building inclusive, high-performance cultures that attract and retain top talent. Even better if you: Have shipped AI/LLM-powered products or internal agents at scale. Have built customer-facing SDKs, APIs, or developer platforms. As an early member of our Engineering team, you will go 0 to 1 on our most important AI agent initiatives. You will be given a lot of autonomy, and the chance to learn in one week what it would take one month to learn elsewhere. Our stack consists of React, TypeScript, Rust, and Ruby. We work with all the popular foundation models to support both coding agent use-cases as well as vision language model use-cases. You will report directly to our co-founder. What you’ll do You will go 0 to 1 on our newest AI agent, partnering directly with the Product and GTM team to unlock new automation opportunities in our large enterprise customers. You will build delightful user interfaces in collaboration with our design team that make AI intuitive for our non-technical end users. You will design, architect, and implement scalable infrastructure to meet the dynamic needs of our large enterprise datasets. You will take ownership over the end to end execution of projects to delight customers with high quality AI applications. You will work directly with our co-founders to understand the customer and make decisions on the product that will lead to a better user experience. Who you are Essentials: 3+ years of relevant full-stack software engineering experience Comfortable with ambiguity. Excited about wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment. Able to hustle to drive results Self-driven, self-motivated, fast learner. Ability to own open-ended projects end-to-end.
