Brazil Operations & Logistics Lead
SP, BR / State of São Paulo, BR / Remote (SP, BR; State of São Paulo, BR)Contract1+ years$200 - $1.2KVisa: US citizen/visa only
What the role involves

None of Hub's data gets collected until the equipment is in someone's hands. Getting it there, across a country the size of Brazil, is the whole job. About Hub Hub is a real world data infrastructure company. We collect original data that does not exist online: the voice, motion, and first person experience that AI and robots need to understand how people actually live. One of our fastest growing categories is egocentric video, first person footage people record through a head mounted phone. Real people record it, in real homes, doing real tasks. That only works if they have the gear. Backed by Y Combinator. Clients are leading AI labs and Fortune 500 companies. Now scaling on the ground in São Paulo. Why This Role Exists We are putting recording equipment, mainly head straps, into the hands of contributors across Brazil. That means importing hardware, clearing customs, managing suppliers, and shipping to people in cities all over the country. Right now nobody owns this. It is unglamorous, and it is the bottleneck the entire Brazil operation runs through. What You Own The full physical pipeline. From supplier to customs to the contributor's door, you make sure the gear arrives. Import and customs. You bring hardware into Brazil and get it cleared without delays strangling the operation. Domestic distribution. Shipping, tracking, reverse logistics, replacements. The machine that has to run. Partners. You manage the suppliers and couriers we already use, and you go find better ones. The numbers. How fast a new contributor gets equipped, what each shipment costs, where things get stuck. You own those metrics and drive them in the right direction. Your First Month Week 1. Map the operation as it stands. Where gear comes from, how it moves, where it breaks. Week 2 to 3. Take ownership of suppliers and shipping. Fix the worst bottleneck first. Start sourcing better partners. Week 4. A working pipeline. Equipment reaching contributors on a predictable timeline, costs you can report, and a plan to scale it. Who You Are Based in São Paulo. Hybrid, not remote. You will be in our Itaim Bibi office and on top of the physical operation. A strong writer and speaker in English. You will coordinate with international suppliers, customs, and a US team daily. Strong written English is the one filter we do not bend on. Hands on with logistics. You have moved physical things through Brazil before, handled shipping and ideally customs and imports, and you know where operations like this fall apart. Fluent in the details. Incoterms, documentation, tracking, follow up. The boring precision is where this role is won. A problem solver under pressure. When a shipment is stuck or a supplier goes quiet, you find the path through. Organized to the point of obsession. Tracking and follow up are not admin. They are the job. Not for you if you want a desk, a fixed process, and someone handing you the steps. For you if you like owning a real operation in the physical world and watching it get faster because of you. No hard feelings either way. The Details Reports to Dany, Head of Staff, who runs Hub's Brazil operation Starts as a contract role with a clear path to full time for the right person Compensation is discussed on the call, based on your profile Two to five years of experience. Drive and ownership matter more than a long resume How to Apply We use a short application form. Give it fifteen to twenty minutes. We read every answer. We want specific over generic, real stories over theory, and clear thinking in clean English. "Here is exactly what I did and what happened" beats "I am a hard worker" every time. Social Media Manager - Brazil
SP, BR / State of São Paulo, BR / Remote (SP, BR; State of São Paulo, BR)Contract1+ years$100 - $500Visa: US citizen/visa only
What the role involves

Most social media roles hand you a brand and a content calendar. This one hands you a country. Hub is opening its presence in Brazil, and we need one person to own how we show up here. Our Instagram, our TikTok, the creators we work with, the stories we tell Brazilians. Yours to build and grow. Clients: leading AI labs and Fortune 500 companies HQ: Palo Alto, CA This role is on the ground in São Paulo, Brazil About Hub Hub is a real world data infrastructure company. We collect original data that does not exist anywhere online: the voice, language, motion, and first person experience that AI and robots need to understand how people actually live. You will not be marketing a faceless product. You will be telling real stories about real people earning real money by training the AI everyone is arguing about. The raw material is extraordinary. Your job is to make Brazil pay attention. What You Own Grow our Instagram and TikTok in Brazil. Instagram is the priority. You own the monthly content, the posting, and the numbers. Turn our contributor network into content. Hundreds of people across Brazil already record for Hub. Their stories are your raw material. Brief and direct local creators and agencies. You find them, you guide them, you keep them shipping. Read the Brazilian internet for us. Spot the trends, formats, and cultural moments worth jumping on, and bring proposals, not just screenshots. Work alongside our marketing lead, who runs global content and design. Brazil is yours. Your First Month Week 1. Live the product. Understand what a Hub contributor actually does and why their data matters. You cannot sell a story you do not understand. Week 2 to 3. Take over the Brazil accounts. Set the content rhythm. Line up your first creators. Ship. Week 4. A running Brazil social operation. Content going out consistently, your first creator collaborations live, and early growth you can point to. Who You Are Based in São Paulo. This role is hybrid, not remote. You will be in our Itaim Bibi office and out in the field. A sharp writer in English. You will work with a US team every day, mostly in writing. Strong written English is the one filter we do not bend on. Your spoken English needs to hold a call. A maker. You can shoot and edit something yourself when you need to, and you know how to get more out of creators and a contributor network as you scale. Fluent in Brazilian internet culture. You know what plays on Instagram and TikTok here, and why. Numbers literate. You read your own analytics and know which post worked and why. Proactive to a fault. You bring ideas. You do not wait for a brief. Curious about AI. You do not need to be technical. You do need to care where this is going. This is not for you if you want a fixed calendar handed to you every Monday and a manager approving every post. It is for you if owning a country's social presence from zero makes you want to start today. No hard feelings either way. What the role involves

Hub is a distributed AI data infrastructure company. We provide real-world training data to AI companies through a global network of 500,000+ contributors across 150+ countries and 100+ languages. We own the full end-to-end pipeline: collection, automated processing, human-in-the-loop QA, and delivery. Our clients are leading AI labs and top-tier technology companies who need original, hard-to-access multimodal data — audio, image, and video — that doesn't exist on the public web. The vision: make real-world data collection for AI as simple as an API call. 500,000+ contributors · 150+ countries · 100+ languages $2M raised · Y Combinator P26 Clients: Top 10 US technology companies HQ: Palo Alto, CA · 100% Remote Who We're Looking For This role is not for everyone. We're a small team moving at YC batch pace. The work is real, the stakes are high, and there's no time to manage people. Ownership over excuses. You see a problem, you fix it, you document it. You don't wait to be told. Speed without sloppiness. You ship fast and you ship clean. You know when to cut and when not to. Async-first mindset. You communicate proactively, write clearly, and never become a blocker because you're offline. Intellectually honest. You rate yourself accurately. You say "I don't know" and then go find out. Builder identity. You have things you've built that you're proud of — side projects, open source, internal tools. You build because you can't help it. Low ego, high standards. You take feedback without flinching. You give it without politics. You care about the work, not the credit. What You Bring You'll own both ends of the stack. You design and ship the backend APIs that process data from half a million contributors. You build the React interfaces that internal teams and clients actually use. You don't wait for someone to spec things out — you identify the problem, design the solution, and ship it. Requirements: 3+ years of professional full stack engineering experience in production environments Strong Python skills and hands-on experience building and deploying production APIs with FastAPI Solid React experience — you've shipped real products used by real users, not just demos Deep command of SQL — you write and review complex queries, you spot slow ones, you fix them Hands-on PostgreSQL experience: indexing, query plan analysis, partitioning, connection pooling, schema design at scale Experience with background task processing systems (Celery, RQ, SQS, or equivalent) Familiarity with object storage (S3-compatible), containerization (Docker), and REST API design principles Ability to own features end-to-end: backend logic, database schema, frontend interface, deployment Key Responsibilities 1. Backend Development Design and maintain FastAPI services powering Hub's data collection and delivery pipeline. Build APIs consumed by internal tools, contributor interfaces, and client-facing integrations. Own reliability, performance, and documentation. 2. Database Performance Write, review, and optimize SQL queries for correctness and speed across high-volume datasets. Tune PostgreSQL performance: indexing, query plans, partitioning, connection pooling. Design schemas that scale with Hub's contributor network and project volume. 3. Frontend Development Build and iterate on React interfaces for contributors, internal ops, and client-facing dashboards. Translate complex data workflows into clean, usable UI. Maintain performance and responsiveness across all surfaces. 4. Async Pipeline Architecture Design and maintain background job systems that handle audio, image, and video file processing at scale. Own reliability and observability of async workflows. 5. Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with ML engineers, DevOps, and the data team to ship integrated features. Participate in architecture discussions and sprint planning. Contribute to internal tooling that accelerates team velocity. What We Offer A founding engineer role — your code runs in
