About the Role We’re looking for a founding sales hire to help us grow our customer base even faster. In the past 12 months, we’ve gone from $0 to seven figures in ARR. We’ve done this all through founder-led sales with no prior sales experience. We’re looking for the right person to own this function and take us from seven figures to nine. This role is full-time in San Francisco in the Presidio. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll work directly with the CEO on the full sales lifecycle, from outbound and prospecting to close. You’ll also field and close our rich inbound set of leads and demos. As our founding sales hire, you will be directly involved in all facets of our sales process: Outbound: Hunt for ideal customers and grow our outbound motion Inbound: Demo and close warm prospects who come through our front door Events: Throw dedicated events for prospects and customers Systems: Own our source of truth for sales data, and build the systems needed to 10x the team in the future Product: Sit next to our R&D team and share the key pain points and sales objects we should build against What We’re Looking For A strong generalist who wants to get their hands dirty Someone who is happy moving fast and making decisions without complete data A clear thinker who can simply articulate data and decisions A strong track record of exceeding targets and selling software A future or ex-founder

We’re hiring a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join our team! This role is full-time in San Francisco at our Presidio office. ​Gauge helps companies show up in more AI answers. Search traffic is shifting away from Google into AI chat, and companies are figuring out how to adapt right now. Our system delivers real-time analytics derived from millions of LLM answers, while also providing an intuitive, powerful UX. We generate optimized articles to improve our customers’ visibility, and offer an agentic chat interface over their data (think ‘Why was there a spike on 12/10?’ or ‘Which of my pages should I refresh?’). What You’ll Do In this role, you would work on every component in our system to improve the product for customers. You will be expected to turn high-level guidance into high quality, end-to-end features, while making smart investments into the scalability of our platform. You could be building AI agent workflows, high-volume data pipelines, embedded BI tools, or anything else that helps our customers win in AI search. We have Slack channels with our customers, so you’ll get immediate feedback when you ship. What We’re Looking For We need engineers who can maintain a strong quality bar while shipping extremely quickly, and who know how to make smart tradeoffs to get features in front of customers. You might be a good fit if you are an ex-founder, ex-founding engineer, or have worked at a high-growth Seed/Series A startup. Strong candidates: have built products from 0 → 1 have broad experience across the stack (frontend, backend, databases, queues) use AI coding tools effectively (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor etc.) have 3+ YoE in web development
