Our platform gives fintechs, banks, and digital platforms the tools to build and tracks money movements with full transparency and control. Starting with an Open Source Ledger (i.e. a database for financial transactions), we’re building a comprehensive suite of modern financial backend modules, including native and automated reconciliation, workflow engines, and connectors with various financial services providers - e.g. Stripe, Adyen, Modulr, Wise, Atlar. This unique approach has made us the trusted financial backend for leading SaaS companies and financial institutions like Booksy, Doctolib, and Liberis, along with many others worldwide. Our success stems from the trust in our open-source foundation, the high level of programmability of our solutions, and our software-first approach, moving beyond traditional payment business models. We’ve recently launched our New York office to accelerate our expansion into the U.S. market. The U.S. is a strategic priority for Formance — home to a mature fintech ecosystem, sophisticated financial institutions, and platforms operating at global scale. To support this growth, our revenue team already includes 7 people across BDR, AE, and Pre-Sales roles. We’re now looking for a BDR to help our commercial efforts in the United States. What you’ll do Your responsibilities will include: Sourcing and qualifying new leads across target segments (SaaS platforms, vertical SaaS, fintechs, etc.) Researching and identifying high-potential prospects, understanding their use cases and challenges Crafting thoughtful, personalized outbound messages and campaigns (emails, LinkedIn, video, etc.) Collaborating closely with the founders and AEs to feed and refine our messaging, and iterate on what works Running initial discovery calls and handoffs, becoming the first voice of Formance in many conversations Helping structure a repeatable and scalable outbound motion, turning ad hoc tactics into a proven playbook Logging and analyzing your outreach and results to continuously optimize the process You’ll sell directly to engineering and product teams at fintech and crypto companies, partnering with senior technical and business decision-makers. As part of our expansion, we're hiring a Solutions Engineer to oversee the post-sales phase with the Ops and Tech team including product implementation, day-to-day operations, and potential account expansion. Work closely with our Post-Operations team throughout the customer journey Develop a deep understanding of our customer use cases, flows of funds, and business objectives to add value effectively. Ensure an excellent customer experience and apply technical expertise throughout the implementation by maintaining consistent, clear communication with multiple stakeholders. Differentiate between "must-have" and "nice-to-have" requirements and feedback from the customer during the deployment.
