Purpose of the Role

The Senior Manager – Electric Vehicle Financing will spearhead the development and execution of innovative financing solutions tailored for commercial EV owners and fleet operators. This role is critical to Enerjazz’s mission: breaking down financial barriers to EV adoption and accelerating the transition to clean mobility. You’ll bridge partnerships between NBFCs, banks, and fintech, design customer-centric finance products, and ensure that thousands of small entrepreneurs and drivers can participate in India’s EV revolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Financing Strategy & Product Development

Design and roll out new financing solutions for electric rickshaws, batteries, and EV fleets, including loans, leases, and pay-per-use models.

Identify market gaps, customer pain points, and emerging trends in EV financing; translate these insights into product innovation.

• Partnership Development

Forge and manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and fintechs to create accessible EV financing options.

Negotiate commercial terms and drive strategic alliances to expand Enerjazz’s reach and market presence.

• Sales Enablement & Customer Success

Develop processes and collateral to enable the channel sales team and partners to promote financing solutions effectively.

Work closely with on-ground teams to drive awareness and adoption among drivers, fleet operators, and small business owners.

• Risk Management & Compliance

Collaborate with finance partners to design robust underwriting processes and mitigate credit risk.

Ensure all products and partnerships comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Analytics & Reporting

Track performance metrics, customer feedback, and portfolio health; recommend corrective actions to ensure targets are met.

Prepare regular dashboards, presentations, and insights for senior leadership and external partners.

Skills & Competencies

Required

• 8+ years’ experience in product, business development, or partnerships in vehicle financing, fintech, NBFC, or banking—ideally in electric mobility or commercial vehicle financing.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, launch, and scale financial products in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
• Strong network within NBFCs, banks, or fintech ecosystem, especially in North and East India.
• Deep understanding of risk, underwriting, and compliance frameworks in vehicle or consumer financing.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit—hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.

Preferred

• Experience working with EV OEMs, energy companies, or e-mobility startups.
• Experience in top EV financing companies like Akasa Finance Ltd, Amrit Malwa Capital, AMU Leasing, Jagrawal Credits etc. is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior exposure to designing financial products for underserved or emerging markets.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language skills are a plus.
