What Dexter does
Dexter helps procurement teams understand exactly where money is being spent and where it can be saved. Dexter's AI agents mine supplier invoices and contracts for insights, surfacing consolidation opportunities, contract leakage, and off-contract spend.

What the role involves
Dexter is the AI-native spend intelligence platform for complex enterprises. Big enterprises spend hundreds of millions, sometimes billions, every year buying things from suppliers, but most of them have no clear picture of what they're actually paying for. We use AI to read their invoices and turn that messy data into clear insights, so they can spot savings and make smarter decisions. Procurement is a fascinating function - responsible for huge amounts of spend, managing strategic supplier relationships and negotiations - yet is overlooked when it comes to technology. We’re here to bring them into the AI era. We went through Y Combinator in 2024, and have been growing since then. Now we're looking for a Founders Associate Intern to work directly with founders and help us scale go-to-market, with a strong focus on growth experimentation and using AI and automation to move faster than teams ten times our size. Your Role As a Founders Associate Intern at Dexter, you’ll work side-by-side with the founders on the most critical part of an early-stage startup: finding, winning, and learning from customers. This is not a routine internship with boring manual tasks. You'll help shape how we identify target customers, test messaging, run outbound experiments, and turn early traction into repeatable growth. You'll also build the automations that make all of this scalable - we believe in using every tool at our disposal (AI, no-code automation, whatever works) to punch above our weight. If you're curious, resourceful, and excited about building a real business with modern tools, this role is for you. Key Facts Start: ASAP (May or June 2026) Duration: minimum 5 months (please do not apply if you are available less than 5 months) Location: Berlin, in-office at least 4 days per week. What You’ll Do Identify and analyze promising customer segments and use cases. Build and iterate on outbound sales and lead-generation campaigns (email, LinkedIn), and automate them where possible using tools like n8n, Make, or similar platforms. Use AI tools to streamline research, enrich leads, analyze call transcripts, draft outreach, and speed up workflows that would otherwise take hours. Research and evaluate conferences, events, and partnerships that could unlock new demand. Design and run growth experiments, from new channels to creative outreach tactics, and measure what works. Help create sales materials, decks, and reporting to turn insights into action. Work directly with founders on ad-hoc strategic projects as the company scales. Who We’re Looking for You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. You have at least two years of university education and are eager to gain hands-on experience in business building. You have strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. You're a self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do. You see a problem, find a tool, and build a solution. You're genuinely excited about AI and automation. You've experimented with tools like ChatGPT, n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar, or you're the kind of person who will teach yourself over a weekend. You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable engaging with prospects via email and LinkedIn. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are excited about building something from the ground up. You are fluent in English and German. What We Offer A high-impact role in a fast-growing YC AI startup. Direct, daily collaboration with experienced founders. A steep learning curve with real responsibility from day one. Exposure to sales, strategy, product, and company-building. Competitive compensation that recognizes your value. About us We’re a team of builders and operators who love solving tough problems. Our founders - Vincent (ex-SoundCloud), Caterina (ex-Uber), and Bella (ex-HubSpot) - met while scaling operations at Dance and saw firsthand how critical su
What the role involves
Procurement tech is estimated to grow to a $20B+ market by 2034 and it's still one of the least disrupted corners of enterprise tech. Enterprises spend hundreds of millions, sometimes billions, every year buying goods and services from suppliers, yet most still have limited visibility on what they're actually paying for. Fragmented data, and legacy tools mean that massive spend is unoptimised. That's the whitespace Dexter is here to own. We use AI to read invoices and turn chaotic spend data into clear intelligence. So procurement teams can spot savings, manage suppliers smarter, and make decisions with confidence. We went through Y Combinator in 2024 and we're growing fast. Now we're looking for a GTM & Growth Marketing Intern to work directly with the founders and help us punch above our weight. Through events, campaigns, and creative brand moments that put Dexter on the map. Your Role As a GTM & Growth Marketing Intern at Dexter, you'll work directly with the founders on the campaigns, events, and growth motions that shape Dexter’s public face. You'll help drive pipeline generation across field marketing, content, partnerships, and outbound GTM initiatives: from executive dinners and webinars to conference activations, social media, and creative campaign experiments targeted at procurement leaders across Europe. You'll also build the automations and AI workflows that make all of this scalable - we believe in using every tool at our disposal (AI, no-code automation, whatever works) to punch above our weight. Key Facts Start: ASAP (May or June 2026) Duration: minimum 5 months (please do not apply if you are available less than 5 months) Location: Berlin, in-office at least 4 days per week. What You'll Do Drive content and social - turn customer wins, founder takes, and event highlights into LinkedIn posts, short-form video, and assets that compound our reach. Plan and run executive dinners for procurement leaders - venue scouting, guest list curation, invitations, on-site hosting, and follow-up. Own our presence at conferences and industry events - booth design, swag, pre-event outbound to attendees, on-site logistics, and post-event pipeline follow-up. Design and run creative GTM campaigns that get us noticed: brand activations, thought-leadership moments, partnership stunts, and other out-of-the box experiments. Produce webinars and virtual events end-to-end: source and prep speakers, run promotion, manage the live production, and turn the recording into content that keeps working for us. Use AI and automation to streamline event ops, attendee research, post-event follow-up, content repurposing, and any workflow that would otherwise eat hours. Create marketing materials, decks, and reporting to turn every event and campaign into measurable pipeline. Work directly with founders on ad-hoc strategic projects as the company scales. Who We're Looking for You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. You have at least two years of university education and hands-on experience with events, campaigns, content, or community - whether through a previous internship, student org, or a side project you ran yourself. You have great taste. You can tell the difference between a dinner that feels special and one that feels corporate, between a LinkedIn post that lands and one that doesn't. You're highly organized and detail-oriented. You're genuinely excited about AI and automation for creatives, and have used or experimented with tools. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable engaging with senior executives, speakers, and partners. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are excited about building something from the ground up. You are fluent in English and German. What We Offer A high-impact role in a fast-growing YC AI startup. Direct, daily collaboration with experienced founders. A steep lear
