What Dalus does
Dalus is an AI-powered systems engineering software to model/validate complex systems for aerospace/defense/robotics and other mission-critical industries. With Dalus, engineers can seamlessly trace requirements, perform analyses, and update information in real-time. This ensures that every team member stays aligned and informed, reducing inefficiencies and enabling faster iterations. With AI at our core, users can analyze hundreds of pages of existing engineering documentation and requirements to generate or retrieve information about the system model they are building in Dalus. We started working together on Dalus in spring 2024 after Eliot quit his job at Aerojet Rocketdyne (L3Harris) where he worked as a test/systems engineer. He experienced first-hand how silos and poor communication reduced the productivity and efficiencies in the teams he worked at. What the role involves
Dalus is building a modern, AI-powered platform for systems engineers, the people who design rockets, satellites, defense systems, and EVs. We're replacing the clunky desktop tools the industry has been stuck on for decades. We're hiring a senior software engineer with a focus on Frontend. You'll own the product's interface end to end and set the bar for how it looks and feels. The core challenge: taking dense, complex engineering data and making it feel obvious to use. You: Mid to senior, min 5-8 years of experience Excellent UI/UX taste and strong React skills Have built polished interfaces for real users Comfortable owning frontend on a small team with a lot of autonomy Startup experience preferred Based in Germany or wider DACH; Munich preferable. German is a plus. Nice to have: experience with engineering, technical, or developer-facing tools. This is an early, high-ownership role. You'll work directly with the founders and shape the product from the ground up.
