This is a hands-on role for someone who is deeply technical, highly pragmatic, and able to move with urgency. You should be comfortable owning infrastructure end to end, writing code, improving developer velocity, and supporting enterprise-grade requirements without overengineering. What you’ll do Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments Improve uptime, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across our platform Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and internal developer tooling Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code Strengthen our security posture across cloud, application, secrets, access control, and runtime environments Partner with engineering to improve build speed, release quality, and operational maturity Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes Support enterprise customer requirements around security, scalability, compliance, and architecture Troubleshoot production issues quickly and systematically Write code and scripts to automate operational work and eliminate manual toil What we’re looking for 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure Experience with modern DevOps tooling such as: Docker Kubernetes Terraform GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD systems NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar observability tools Solid scripting or coding ability in languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript/TypeScript Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, IAM, secrets management, and production debugging Familiarity with security tooling and concepts, including vulnerability management, cloud security best practices, least privilege, secrets handling, and secure software delivery Experience supporting high-availability production systems Ability to move quickly, operate independently, and make sound engineering tradeoffs Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and startup pace Nice to have Experience in multi-cloud architecture Experience with enterprise environments, compliance, or customer security requirements Experience with incident management, on-call processes, and postmortems Familiarity with security scanning, container security, SAST/SCA, or cloud security tooling Experience building internal platforms or developer infrastructure Experience working at a startup or high-growth company What success looks like Infrastructure is reliable, secure, and easy for engineers to use Deployments are fast and low-friction Costs are understood and actively optimized Systems are observable and incidents are handled well Security and enterprise requirements are handled without slowing the company down Manual work gets automated away Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $100,000 – $210,000 Equity: 0.05% – 0.50% Health Insurance, Dental and Vision Flexible working hours Why join us You’ll have real ownership over the systems that power the company. Job Description We’re looking for a Security Researcher who is passionate about uncovering, analyzing, and preventing vulnerabilities in modern software. This role sits at the intersection of AI, security research, and developer tooling. You’ll help shape how Corgea detects new classes of vulnerabilities and automate secure code analysis at scale. This is a remote position based in the US (preferably in California or the San Francisco Bay Area). What You’ll Be Doing Research and design detection methods for emerging vulnerability classes across multiple languages and frameworks. Analyze source code, binaries, and AI-generated code to identify new exploit patterns and attack surfaces. Collaborate with our engineering team to integrate your research into Corgea’s AI-driven security engine. Conduct security evaluations of open-source and enterprise applications to validate and refine Corgea’s models. Stay current on the latest CVEs, exploit techniques, and security trends to inform product intelligence. Who You Are 4–8 years of experience in application security, offensive research, or secure software development. Strong understanding of vulnerability classes (e.g., injection, deserialization, path traversal, auth bypass, XXE, SSRF, RCE). Proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C/C++. Experience with static or dynamic analysis tools, fuzzing, or reverse engineering is a plus.
