What Claim Health does

Post-acute care loses billions to broken revenue infrastructure. Claim Health prevents it. We catch denials before they happen, automate the work drowning ops teams, and connect every step from referral to cash so agencies can scale without adding headcount. Kevin and JJ bring nearly a decade of experience building and scaling healthtech companies across different segments. Post-acute care is a $400B market with over $20B in annual revenue leakage due to broken revenue infrastructure. Claim Health is fixing that.

What the role involves

Content Marketing Intern Claim Health · New York, NY (In-Person) · Internship 10–12 weeks · Competitive stipend · YC-backed, early-stage About Claim Health Claim Health is the AI Revenue Platform for Post-Acute Care. With the US population aging and preference for care moving to the home, post-acute care (home health, skilled nursing, home care, hospice) is one of the fastest growing verticals within healthcare. Post-acute providers operate across fragmented systems, manual workflows, and reactive processes that create operational drag and financial uncertainty. Claim Health replaces this fragmentation with an intelligent, software-driven platform that unifies data, automates execution, and enables real-time decision-making across revenue-critical operations. The Role Most people's eyes glaze over when you say "prior authorization" or "revenue cycle management." Yours don't. You see a broken system that affects millions of patients and the providers caring for them and you know there's a story worth telling buried in the data. You'll work directly with the founding team to shape how Claim Health communicates - translating complex, data-heavy operational realities into content that drives curiosity, builds credibility, and moves people to care about what's happening in post-acute care. You can expect to: Write articles, thought leadership pieces, and long-form content that make the economics and operations of home health and hospice compelling to read Turn dense industry data and informatics into narratives that actually land Draft website copy, LinkedIn posts, email sequences, and sales collateral that reflects Claim Health's voice Interview members of the founding team and distill their expertise into publishable content Research industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics and find the angle worth writing about Help develop and maintain Claim Health's editorial voice across every channel What We're Looking For Exceptional writing - clarity, rhythm, and the ability to make complicated things feel simple without dumbing them down Genuine curiosity about healthcare - you don't need to be an expert, but you need to want to become one Ability to translate data, research, and subject matter expertise into stories people actually want to read Strong instincts for what makes something worth publishing vs. what belongs in a Google Doc Fast - you can produce quality work under tight timelines without it showing On-site in NYC full-time for the duration of the internship Strong plus Writing samples in healthcare, policy, business, or technology Experience with SEO or content strategy Familiarity with the business of healthcare — reimbursement, operations, or policy Background in journalism, communications, or English Compensation Competitive stipend · Direct collaboration with the founding team · Bylines on real content that reaches a real audience Claim Health is an equal opportunity employer.

Deployment Specialist

What the role involves

Deployment Specialist Claim Health · New York, NY (In-Person) · Full-Time About Claim Health Claim Health is the AI Revenue Platform for Post-Acute Care. The Role You'll be the person who takes a signed contract and turns it into a live, working deployment. We need someone who can carry it independently — technically sharp enough to understand how our product works under the hood and translate what a client is asking for into a precise product or configuration request, and people-smart enough to run a C-suite readout and a training session with frontline intake staff in the same day. This is a foundational hire. You'll help build the deployment function from the ground floor and set the standard for how Claim Health onboards every client going forward. You can expect to: Lead end-to-end deployments across home health and hospice agencies — from discovery through go-live, owning the full mapping of each partner's org structure, payer mix, workflows, and SOPs into precise platform configuration Configure and deploy Claim Health's AI agents to match each partner's workflows across intake, authorization, and revenue operations Don't just implement what you're told — bring a point of view. Identify where Claim Health can genuinely improve a process and prescribe a better way forward Where SOPs don't exist, write them — and build the deployment playbooks and onboarding guides that scale our process beyond you Translate customer requests into precise, well-scoped product asks that engineering can actually act on Run onboarding and training sessions across clinical, RCM, and operations staff What We're Looking For Meticulous organization — you're managing multiple clients, configurations, and open items simultaneously and nothing slips Process fluency — you can absorb how an organization works, identify where things break down, and prescribe a better path using the tools in front of you Genuine technical depth — diagnose problems, translate customer needs into product requests, and operate without engineering support on routine issues Multi-level communication — equally credible with executives, middle management, and frontline workers; you will be on-site with clients and this is not a back-office role First-principles problem solver — find the actual cause, not the surface symptom Calm under pressure — deployments get messy; you don't End-to-end ownership — you pick something up and see it through; nothing falls through the cracks Experience 2–5 years in implementation, solutions engineering, or a forward-deployed role A track record of leading deployments and owning go-lives end-to-end, not just supporting them Healthcare or health tech background preferred; RCM or authorization experience is a strong plus Technical enough to diagnose integration and data flow issues independently — coding ability is a strong plus Strong plus Familiarity with home health, hospice, or post-acute care operations Strong academic background - we're building a high-performance team and rigor matters Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary + equity + bonus · Health, dental, and vision · Flexible PTO · Direct collaboration with the founding team Claim Health is an equal opportunity employer.
