Project management software for building infrastructure.
What Clad does
Clad is project management and billing software for infrastructure. The world is rebuilding its internet and power networks. The utilities, internet companies, and contractors tasked with this work face immense pressure to deliver. But their tools haven’t caught up. Contractors struggle to grow, constrained by cashflow. Operators fly blind, lacking real time visibility into issues. Clad unifies project operations and finance to automate project tracking, payments, and permitting. With Clad, contractors grow faster and improve their margins. Operators execute smoothly. And everyone can focus on what’s most important - building.

You treat this like a business that you own - knowing the numbers cold, not making excuses, and being resourceful - doing whatever it takes to grow More about the product (Clad Locates) Before a contractor can dig underground, they must alert the utilities in the area where they will be digging. This is to make sure contractors don’t hit anything, like a water or gas pipe. To notify the utilities, contractors submit a ‘utility locate request’ to a centralized state portal that then notifies each utility in the planned construction area. Submitting and tracking these tickets is time consuming, and is admin work that no contractor enjoys. So we built Clad Locates, a tool that uses AI to automate the process of submitting and tracking 811 tickets. Our early tests for this product have been fantastic - >20% call connect rates, ~50% meeting booked rates, and strong excitement for the tool. We’re ready to scale the tool to more contractors, as a new line of business and also a ‘wedge’ for our core project management product.
