Banner is the operating system for real estate teams. From building acquisition to disposition, Banner moves all communications, workflows, spreadsheets, and file-sharing into one system. With Banner, customers automate away 80%+ of their administrative work, saving up to 10% on project costs. The company is founded by Mark Murphy who formerly worked in RE finance, along with Kunal Chaudhary and Eric Gao, both UC Berkeley EECS alums.

What the role involves
Change how America builds buildings. Banner is transforming the way America’s buildings are developed and improved. The Real Estate industry is largely stuck in the past technologically. Commercial real estate owners and developers are still using Excel, shared folders, and email to track and manage hundreds of billions in annual spending. Banner builds financial and project management software that allows owners to easily track development costs, timelines, spending, and much more. Today our customers track everything from small unit renovations to large sky scraper construction projects in our system. We've raised our Series A (https://commercialobserver.com/2023/10/spend-management-banner/), led by Blackstone and Fifth Wall Capital. We’re looking to bring on our first dedicated senior frontend engineer. We’re looking for someone who can do the following: Must be an expert in React + Node.js vanilla Must be able to read, make light edits and reason about Node.js backend API Work with messy react states and improve/modernize them Be able to optimize performance at any client side level (from state to tables) Has experience working with a designer and implementing responsive web pages Has experience bringing React web to mobile platforms Uses AI tools to code/prototype effectively

Our Stack: MongoDB, Node, React We are looking for an experienced engineer that can implement a full feature, end-to-end (frontend, backend, schema changes). You'll be in charge of full features from day 1. In this role you'll be building client facing features that you'll get direct feedback on after you ship. Our Stack: Web + Mobile At Banner, we work with the some of the largest real estate companies in the world to help them manage their construction finances. We’ve never had a designer, and have scaled primarily using material UI components. We’re at the stage where we want to bring on a senior designer with web experience that can: Build a new design system Make legacy screens and flows look modern Applicants must have Over 6 years of experience Have worked at a similar stage startup (Series B) or large tech company
