Checkr is recognized on Forbes Cloud 100 2025 List and is a Y Combinator 2024 Breakthrough Company. In an AI-driven world, distinguishing real from fake is increasingly challenging. AI has made it easy to forge credentials, impersonate individuals, and submit job applications at scale using synthetic identities. More than a third of remote applicants are fake, and Fortune 500 companies experienced a significant rise in hires from state-sponsored fraudulent actors last year. AI has turned the hiring funnel from a protective filter into an open gateway for bad actors. Checkr is building the identity layer for hiring to address this threat. As the leader of Checkr's Identity Risk solutions, you will set a new standard for trust in hiring by creating a system that validates identity seamlessly and frictionlessly. You will develop best-in-class capabilities that prevent fraud during all phases of the hiring process, to safeguard organizations while improving the experience for legitimate, qualified candidates. You will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ship market-leading products that are intuitive and easy to use. What you’ll do Own the strategy and roadmap for all Identity Risk Solutions, including dashboard products, APIs, and pre-built partner integrations.
