What CareSwift does
CareSwift is a real-time AI assistant built directly into ambulance reporting systems, guiding medics as they document care and instantly flagging errors. Crews complete accurate, compliant reports in under three minutes, cutting documentation time by 80 percent and helping agencies avoid insurance claim denials. Ambulance crews lose valuable time completing reports after each call. Even minor mistakes cause insurance claims to be rejected.

What the role involves
Founding EMS Sales Development Representative About CareSwift CareSwift uses AI to automate ambulance reports. Paramedics spend 30% of their shift on paperwork — we're cutting that to zero. We're a Y Combinator-backed startup (S25) based in New York City, and we're growing fast. You'll be the one telling that story to EMS agencies across the country. The Team Brian was a former EMT who saw firsthand how much time paramedics waste on paperwork — he started CareSwift to give them back hours of their day. We're a small, tight-knit founding team that moves fast and cares deeply about the EMS community. About the Role We're looking for a driven, resourceful salesperson with EMS industry knowledge to join as our Founding SDR. You'll own the top of the funnel — finding, reaching out to, and qualifying EMS agencies and ambulance services, then booking demos for Brian to close. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where you'll shape our outbound sales playbook from scratch. If you know the EMS world, love the hunt of finding the right people to talk to, and get fired up about booking meetings that actually convert — this role is for you. Your First 90 Days Days 1–30: Master our EMS-specific outreach playbook, learn the product inside and out, and book your first 5 demos with agency chiefs. Days 31–60: Own your pipeline end-to-end. Refine messaging based on what's landing, ramp up outbound volume, and start building repeatable outreach sequences. Days 61–90: Hit a steady cadence of qualified demos per week. Begin contributing insights from prospect conversations to shape our sales strategy and product roadmap. What You'll Do Prospect & research: Identify high-potential EMS agencies, ambulance services, and fire departments that would benefit from CareSwift. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads. Outreach: Craft and execute outbound campaigns — cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and whatever else works — to get decision-makers on the phone. Qualify: Have real conversations to understand a prospect's pain points, current workflows, and whether CareSwift is the right fit. Book demos: Get qualified prospects scheduled for product demos with Brian. Iterate on process: Track what's working and what's not. Help us build a repeatable, scalable outbound sales engine. Be the voice of the customer: Share what you're hearing from prospects with the team to help shape our product and messaging. Who You Are You know EMS. You've worked in or around emergency medical services — as a provider, dispatcher, administrator, or vendor selling into EMS. You understand the language, the pain points, and the people. You're a natural hunter. You don't wait for leads to come to you. You find them, research them, and figure out the best way to get their attention. You're a people person. You build rapport fast, listen well, and can hold a genuine conversation with an EMS chief or operations director. You're self-driven. This is an early-stage startup. There's no playbook yet — you'll be writing it. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by ownership. You're organized and persistent. You follow up relentlessly without being annoying. You keep your CRM clean and your pipeline moving. Sales experience is a plus — whether it's a formal SDR/BDR role, selling medical equipment, or any B2B sales background. But hustle and EMS knowledge matter more than a polished resume. Why Join CareSwift Ground floor opportunity. You'll be our first sales hire. If you perform, you'll grow into a bigger role as we scale. Real impact. The people you bring in as customers are EMS agencies — you're directly helping the people who save lives do their jobs better. Y Combinator backed. You'll be joining a company with the resources, mentorship, and network of the world's top startup accelerator. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80,000–$120,000 Equity: 0.1%–0.25% Performance bonuses tied to meetings booked and pipeline generated Full benefits including heal
