Broccoli AI

AI-native operating system for home service businesses

Hiring — 8 openYC-W22B2B -> Engineering, Product and DesignEarly

What Broccoli AI does

Broccoli is building the AI-native operating system for home service businesses. Running a plumbing or HVAC company is chaotic—calls, scheduling, dispatch, follow-ups, marketing. We automate all of it so contractors can focus on what they do best: serving customers. Our AI agents handle both revenue and ops—answering phones 24/7, booking jobs in real time, following up on leads, and alerting techs when emergencies hit. We’ve grown from 0 to 200+ contractors in under a year, raised an unannounced round led by a Tier 1 VC to take on one of the biggest labor automation opportunities in the country.

Strategy & Operations Lead, New Verticals
San FranciscoFull-time6+ years$170 - $250Visa: US citizen/visa only
What the role involves

We are hiring a New Verticals Lead to own how Broccoli expands across home services. Our initial customer base tended toward HVAC, electrical, and plumbing because those are the largest categories within home services. However, Broccoli extends naturally to the rest of the industry, including roofing, garage, lawn care, pest control, and more. Demand in those verticals is growing rapidly through word of mouth. This is an end-to-end strategy role. You will go deep on how each vertical actually operates, translate those insights into product priorities, evolve how we onboard and support customers in each segment, and own the go-to-market motion that makes Broccoli the strongest choice in every trade. What You’ll Do • Develop deep vertical expertise (spending real time with customers in each new vertical to understand how their businesses, workflows, economics, and pain points differ) • Shape the product roadmap by vertical (translating customer insights into prioritized product investments and partnering with PM and engineering on the workflows, integrations, and configurations that matter most for each segment) • Evolve onboarding and customer success (designing how we onboard, activate, and retain customers in each vertical, and building the playbooks the CS team uses to scale) • Own go-to-market by vertical (positioning, marketing materials, partnerships, tradeshow strategy, and channel motion, ensuring every vertical has a sharp, credible story) • Build the new-vertical playbook (define the repeatable framework Broccoli uses to enter, validate, and scale every future vertical). • Measure and iterate (set the success metrics for each expansion and hold yourself, and the cross-functional team, accountable to them) What We’re Looking For • 6+ years of experience as an operator at a PE-backed home services company, at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey), and/or high-growth startup • High agency. You don’t wait for instructions. You see what needs to happen, build the plan, and drive it across functions. • Strong analytical ability, including comfort structuring ambiguous problems, building business cases, and pressure-testing assumptions with data. • Excellent executive communication, including the ability to distill complex operational data into clear insights for both internal and customer-facing audiences. • Operator instincts. You can sit across the table from a roofing company owner or a pest control franchise GM and earn their trust quickly. • Cross-functional fluency. You’ve worked closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams and know how to influence without authority. • Excited to work in person in San Francisco. • Bonus: prior experience in home services, field services, or vertical SaaS.

Strategy & Operations Lead, Special Projects
San FranciscoFull-time5+ years$170K - $220KVisa: US citizen/visa only
What the role involves

Broccoli is growing fast, and we're looking for a sharp, execution-obsessed operator to work directly with our CEO on the highest-priority strategic projects across the business. This isn't a PowerPoint-and-debrief role: you'll own workstreams end-to-end, move between 30,000-foot strategy and ground-level execution, and have a meaningful impact on how the company is built. This role is intentionally broad. You'll be the person the CEO reaches for when something important needs to get done right and fast, whether that's stress-testing a new pricing model, standing up a go-to-market program, designing how a team should be structured, or negotiating a partnership from term sheet to close. If you've come out of consulting or banking and have since gotten your hands dirty at a startup, or if you've been a GM or operator who thinks rigorously, this role was designed for you. What You'll Work On Special projects — own whatever the most important, time-sensitive, and ambiguous thing is at any given moment; scope will shift as the company's needs do Pricing & packaging — build the analytical frameworks and competitive context to inform how we price and position our products Org design — work with the CEO and leadership team to think through how we structure and scale the organization as we grow Partnerships strategy — identify, evaluate, and close strategic partnerships; own the relationship and the commercial terms Marketing program management — drive execution of cross-functional marketing initiatives from planning through measurement Who You Are 5–8 years of experience, with roots in strategy consulting or investment banking and at least one chapter as an operator at a startup or high-growth company You've been a GM, a founder, a chief of staff, or played a similar role where you owned a P&L or a major cross-functional outcome, not just advised on one You're equally comfortable building a model, writing a memo, running a meeting, and following up to close a loop You thrive in ambiguity and don't need a fully scoped brief to get started You have strong opinions, but you hold them loosely and update when you see new data You communicate clearly and directly, to the CEO, to external partners, and to teams across the company Why This Role You'll have real ownership, real access, and real scope from day one. The projects you work on will shape the company's strategy and trajectory, not sit in a slide deck. You'll build a deep relationship with the CEO and get exposure to every function of the business. For the right person, this is a direct path to a senior operating role at Broccoli.

Account Executive, Mid-Market
San Francisco, CA, USFull-time6+ years$160K - $300KVisa: US citizen/visa only
What the role involves

Broccoli is building the AI intelligence layer that runs front-office operations for home service businesses — turning calls into scheduled appointments and real revenue. We’re looking for an Account Executive for Mid-Market to own a high-velocity sales motion with strong inbound demand — and the autonomy to create pipeline when needed. This role is about speed, judgment, and execution. If you like momentum, tight feedback loops, and seeing your work turn into revenue quickly, this role is for you. This is a high-volume sales role focused on independent operators and growing multi-location businesses. Typical deal sizes are $20K - 40K ACV , with short sales cycles and clear ROI. Inbound will drive the majority of pipeline — but the best reps here don’t wait. You’ll prospect strategically when it makes sense to hit your number and grow accounts faster. What You’ll Do Own the full Mid-Market sales cycle — from first conversation to close. Run high-quality, fast demos that clearly connect Broccoli to customer outcomes. Close a high volume of deals with short, efficient sales cycles. Prospect when needed — outbound to high-intent accounts, expansions, and lookalike customers. Understand customer workflows quickly and tailor the pitch without over-customizing. Partner closely with onboarding and customer success to ensure smooth handoffs. Maintain a tight pipeline and consistently hit quota. Share feedback from the field to improve messaging, pricing, and product. What You’ll Bring 2–5+ years of experience in a high-velocity B2B SaaS sales role. Proven success closing $20K–$40K ACV deals. Comfort balancing inbound volume with thoughtful outbound. Strong discovery, demo, and closing skills. Bias toward action and ownership. Clear, confident communication with operators and business owners.

We’re not hiring someone to just manage relationships or coach people. We’re hiring someone deeply analytical, systems-driven, and AI-native — someone who can design and build a machine that drives retention and expansion at scale, not manage it manually. Senior Product Manager
San FranciscoFull-time5+ years$150K - $250KVisa: US citizen/visa only
What the role involves

This is one of the highest-impact roles at Broccoli. In this role, you'll shape what we build, in what order, and how successful the rollouts are. Broccoli is at an exciting growth stage with constant product tradeoffs. New products to build. A steady stream of feature requests from existing customers. Two different customer profiles: enterprise operators and independent SMBs. Plus rapid expansion into new verticals within home services. Every week involves hard calls about what gets built and what doesn't. You'll own those calls day-to-day and help the founders make the bigger strategic ones. When something ships, you own the rollout to customers, the CS team, and the sales team, plus the metrics and the honest answer to whether it actually worked. We are especially looking for someone who can do two things well. First: get deep into our customers' businesses. We build with design partners, embedding with their teams and truly understanding their businesses. We prioritize based on which AI agents will have the biggest P&L impact for them. Second: know what's possible with AI. Customers ask for what they've seen SaaS products do. You should be building toward what AI makes possible, which is almost always something far better than what anyone thought to request. What you'll own AI PM agent: build and leverage an agent that ingests tickets, call transcripts, Linear, and product metrics and surfaces what matters most, so your time goes to synthesis and judgment, not information gathering Prioritization: manage tradeoffs across new products, feature requests, enterprise vs. SMB needs, and expanding verticals; give the team a clear, defensible view of what's most important and why Founder leverage: bring enough structure and insight to strategic conversations that the founders can make faster, better decisions on the hard calls Specs and mockups: write specs built around the "why" and produce basic mockups that give engineering enough to move fast Launch and go-to-market: coordinate with customer success, sales, and marketing when features ship; ensuring the right enablement, release notes, and customer comms are in place Metrics: define what success looks like for every feature, ensure the right things get tracked, and review outcomes after every launch Who we're looking for Must-haves High-agency: you bring structure to ambiguity, move without being told, and own outcomes end to end Strong business judgment: you get to the real need underneath a customer request and prioritize based on P&L impact, not loudest voice AI-first: you default to asking what's now possible, not what's been done before, and you've built agents or AI-powered workflows yourself Excited to work in-office five days a week to collaborate closely with the founders and the team Strong plus Former founder, or a PM who has operated like one: you've made calls with incomplete information, owned outcomes, and stayed close to customers throughout Experience at a high-growth B2B startup (Series A to C) Home services or field service management experience Not a fit PM experience primarily in process management, stakeholder alignment, or sprint facilitation Never owned a product outcome end to end Why Join Us? Impact from Day 1: Own features end-to-end for hundreds of real businesses. Category-Creation: Shape how AI employees run the $600B home services industry. Ultra-Fast Execution: Ship and iterate 3x faster than competitors. Small Team, Big Ownership: Work directly with the founders and see your code in production daily.
