What the role involves
Bluejay is building the simulation, evaluation, and observability layer for voice + text AI agents. We work with Fortune 500s, multi-national corporations, and startups to make sure their AI agents perform as intended. We raised a 4m seed backed by Floodgate, PeakXV, and YC in June, and have been doubling our growth every 3 months since inception. We are looking for cracked, FULL STACK, founding engineers with 1-2 years of experience who would like to join the Bluejay rocketship. We want fresh, scrappy engineers who get really excited building cool shit. We hold a high technical bar and expect proficiency across the stack. At Bluejay, you’ll be working with some of the largest companies in the world to QA their voice and text AI agents. You’ll be working with tech across the stack, and taking full ownership for your work. We are a super small team punching well above our weight, and expect you to do so as well! Frontend React, Tailwind TypeScript NextJS Backend Python, FastAPI Supabase, Redis AWS (a lot of it) Voice AI: LiveKit, Deepgram, Cartesia, Elevenlabs, Gemini, etc Websockets CI/CD chops Desirable Quirks super opinionated about random design decisions enjoys keeping a clean room (codebase cleanliness) physically cringes when seeing inefficient code or poorly designed systems has good intuition when designing new systems aesthetic, inspired, artsy, in touch Desirable Experiences (any of these will pique our interest) Has worked at a YC company as a founding engineer for over 6 months Has worked in the voice AI space Has built beautiful frontend websites Is a technical, ex-VC-backed founder What You’ll Do Architect and develop systems that simulate, analyze, and evaluate conversational AI agents, including voice and multimodal systems. Design resilient, scalable infrastructure using AWS (Lambda, EC2, Websockets, SIP) to handle thousands of real-time conversations. Develop algorithms and pipelines that surface insights, detect failure modes, and ensure agents are safe, reliable, and aligned with human intent. Work on-site with customers. This early on, you’ll be building, selling, and deploying the product to real customers.
What the role involves
Bluejay is building the simulation, evaluation, and observability layer for voice + text AI agents. We work with Fortune 500s, multinational corporations, and high-growth startups to ensure their AI agents actually perform as intended in production. We raised a $4M seed backed by Floodgate, Peak XV, and YC — and we’ve been doubling every 3 months since inception. Now we’re looking for a cracked, founding GTM operator who wants to help build the growth engine behind the Bluejay rocketship. We don’t want someone to “run a playbook.” We want someone who wants to build the playbook from scratch. What You’ll Actually Be Doing You’ll be designing, testing, and iterating on the systems that create pipeline, credibility, and revenue. Outbound & Pipeline Architect and run multi-channel outbound (email, LinkedIn, events, enterprise segmentation) Build scalable lead-generation systems using automation + AI-native workflows Design outbound like a product: test → measure → refine Work conferences, dinners, and in-person events alongside founders Inbound, Brand & Content Take ownership of inbound channels currently run by the CEO Ship consistent content across social, written, and ecosystem platforms Improve discoverability (SEO, GEO, AI-native distribution) Turn product wins into distribution leverage GTM Engineering & Growth Systems Build lead lists using enrichment, automation, and AI-native tools Create semi-automated workflows that improve pipeline velocity Constantly experiment with tools, tactics, and growth mechanics Obsess over signal: what’s working, what’s not, and why Partnerships & Ecosystem Build relationships across the voice + AI ecosystem Coordinate co-marketing initiatives and partner motions Increase credibility and trust in enterprise markets You will be: Building Selling Iterating On-site with customers In the trenches with founders This is a founding-level ownership role, not a narrow function. Who You Are We’re looking for someone with ~2–3+ years of experience who is early in their career but wants to swing big. Core Traits Highly AI-native in how you work Thrives in ambiguity Scrappy and resourceful Gets excited building systems from zero Thinks in experiments, not opinions Comfortable being wrong quickly Desirable Quirks Physically cringes at inefficient pipeline Has strong opinions about distribution mechanics Loves clean, organized CRM systems Gets irrationally excited about automation Thinks GTM is part art, part math Experiences That Pique Our Interest Sold or marketed AI / technical products Experience in dev tools or infra Worked at an early-stage startup Former founder Built and scaled outbound systems before Titles matter less than impact. What This Is Not Not a “run the enterprise playbook” AE role Not a single-channel marketing job Not a late-stage, highly specialized position Not for someone who needs rigid structure This is for someone who wants to help define how Bluejay grows. Logistics Full-time, in-office You’ll work extremely closely with the founders (especially the CEO) Hiring in the next ~2 months, but we’ll move fast for someone exceptional Compensation Base: ~$100K–$2200K Commission: ~8–15% range Meaningful early-stage equity If you want to build the growth engine behind the infrastructure powering AI agents at the largest companies in the world… Let’s talk.
