With your help calling on the top companies in the world, the number of amazing logos will only keep increasing. We'd love for you to be a part of the excitement, in a pivotal role that reports directly to our Chief Sales Officer. What You'll Do You'll map and build territories from the ground up as part of the “first five” in our enterprise sales team. You'll become an expert hunter, selling Apollo GraphQL to the top enterprises in the world. You'll be a part of a tight knit sales team that values best practices sharing, mentoring, and learning. You'll collaborate with our marketing, product, success, and support teams to creatively grow our portfolio of customers. About You You have 5+ years of sales experience in closing enterprise SaaS deals and managing enterprise customers. You have established business relationships with IT buyers on the West Coast. You take the time to develop a deep understanding of how to sell a new technology to visionary leaders in engineering and IT. You empathize with and listen to our customers, forming a close relationship as a trusted advisor. You're organized and don't mind using tools like Salesforce as a single source of truth. You're excited to engage with cross-functional teams on demand generation programs including events, partnerships, content creation, and recruiting. You thrive in fast-paced, often changing startup environments. You routinely meet or exceed 100% of sales targets (even better if it's in early-stage tech). Overview We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Customer Success Engineer to join our fast-growing, highly talented Customer Success team. We pride ourselves on our culture of helping other people succeed, and that goes for both our customers and our teams. You’re not expected to know GraphQL on day one and part of the fun will be learning about it while partnering with Engineering, Product, Sales, Solutions Architects, and Support. Apollo is the market leader of developer tools that enable companies to build their software in far less time, with far greater functionality. The technology beneath it all is called GraphQL, a revolutionary technology that allows product engineering teams to almost double the speed at which they ship new features. Our free products have millions of downloads per week, and our enterprise offerings serve many of the world's most famous brands. People are shocked at the type of logos we land. We are on an incredible growth trajectory and are funded by Andreessen Horowitz and Matrix Partners. What you'll do Manage a book of large Enterprise customers, be responsible for account health, renewal, and revenue growth. Serve as a trusted technical advisor for our customers. Liaison with Solutions Architects, Engineering, and Support teams to address customers’ technical needs. Provide demos, feature updates, and education resources to help customers learn and adopt our cloud products. Through regular meeting cadence, proactively uncover customer needs and new use cases, anticipate risks, and collaborate with other departments to protect and grow your accounts. Build relationships with customers, help them unblock challenges, and turn them into advocates. About You You've had success working with Enterprise customers on technical products. You have experience with programming languages, cloud services, or software deployment. You learn fast and can quickly grasp technological and business concepts. You are highly organized and can effectively keep track of customer requests. You are an excellent problem solver who can thrive in an unstructured environment. You can articulate technical concepts or recommendations clearly to customers. You are curious and can effectively uncover customer needs and growth opportunities. You can navigate customer organizations, identify new use cases and build relationships with different stakeholders. Effective at facilitating executive meetings and workshops. You are a team player and enjoy fostering collaborative relationships with other departments. Bachelor's degree in computer science, coding boot camp, or equivalent work experience is a huge plus.
