14.ai
AI engine powering autonomous brands starting with gloglo.com
What 14.ai does
14.ai operates brands autonomously. Our software runs the core machinery of a modern company, from demand generation to fulfillment to customer relationships. The next iconic brands will run with far fewer people, tighter software loops, and much more operational intelligence. Our system connects acquisition, operations, support, and decision-making across the brands we build into one intelligent layer. We use 14.ai to launch and run our own brands, improve the system in production, and make brand creation faster, measurable, and more programmable with every cycle.

What the role involves
We are an intense, tightly-knit team based in Lower Haight, San Francisco. We’re the world’s first autonomous consumer brand (backed by Y Combinator), built by a small crew of AI engineers and nutritionists from UC Berkeley, Cambridge, and Cornell. Our co-founders previously scaled an AI company that was acquired by Sonos, and we now run GloGlo almost entirely on AI except for the part that actually matters: making the gummies. Our product is simple and obsessive: melty energy gummies made with fast-absorbing glucose (dextrose). 100% vegan, gluten-free, caffeine-free, no artificial anything. Flavor-first, non-sticky, shelf-stable, and actually delicious. Designed for runners, athletes, diabetics and anyone who needs clean, rapid carbs without the chalky taste or sugar crash. We obsess over every detail: texture, melt speed, flavor balance, and real-world performance. Our pillars are flavor excellence, nutritional precision, production scalability, and radical pragmatism. We move fast, test relentlessly with customers, and use AI to handle everything except the craft of perfecting the gummy itself. As a Chef Intern, you’ll be right in the kitchen at our HQ factory in San Francisco, hands-on with every step of gummy production. You’ll scale batches (we’ve already cooked 20,000+ by hand in a single run and our goal is to scale to 1 million gummies per day), iterate on formulations, refine flavors, run quality control, dial in texture and melt, ensure food-safety standards, and help turn our small-batch kitchen process into something that can scale while staying delicious and consistent. You’ll work directly with our UC Berkeley nutritionist and the founders on R&D, taste testing, and pushing the product forward. The bar is very high: we move at startup speed and expect ownership from day one. If you love food science, precision cooking, and turning great recipes into great products, this is your chance to own an entire physical product line at a YC-backed company that’s redefining how consumer brands are built. Ready to make the best gummies on the planet? Apply and tell us why you’re the right fit. !uploaded image !uploaded image !uploaded image
