What the role involves

We’re building the next generation of conversational voice and video AI for life sciences—intelligent with 100% regulatory compliance. Our AI medical experts help pharma teams engage doctors, support patients, and unlock insights faster than ever before. We’ve just raised our seed, signed our first customers, and are scaling fast. If you're excited about building real-world AI in an early stage startup and shape not just our product, but our identity and culture —this is your moment. We move like owners. Everyone at Synthio Labs has the autonomy and the responsibility to drive projects, challenge decisions, and push things forward. We don’t wait for permission. If you see a gap, you fill it. If you see a better way, you try it. We ask “why” until we get to the root. We explore new ideas, research papers, every single edge case and anything that sharpens our understanding. We use AI like a second brain. From writing code to writing docs, debugging flows to exploring new ideas, AI is part of our daily rhythm. Everyone here gets hands-on with the tools, learns how to prompt better, and treats AI as a teammate. About the Role Synthio is looking for a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys building end-to-end systems and shipping production-grade products. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, AI systems, and infrastructure. You’ll work on LLM-powered and voice-enabled applications, integrate external APIs, and own services from design through deployment and operation. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team building real-world software for healthcare and pharma, where reliability, performance, and correctness are non-negotiable. We value engineers who take ownership, move quickly, and are comfortable operating across the stack. What You’ll Do Build and maintain backend services that power AI- and LLM-driven products Design and implement APIs, data flows, and service integrations Productionize LLM-based workflows (prompting, retrieval, orchestration, evaluations) Deploy and operate services with a focus on low latency, high availability, and robustness Design and manage infrastructure (containerization, cloud services, CI/CD) Work on voice-enabled systems (STT/TTS, streaming APIs) as part of end-user experiences Monitor, debug, and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and cost Collaborate closely with founders and product stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable software Own features and services end-to-end, from initial design to production support What We’re Looking For 1–3+ years of experience in software engineering or backend-focused roles Strong proficiency in Python Experience designing and building APIs and backend systems Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) Comfort with cloud infrastructure and DevOps fundamentals (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS/Lambda, observability, basic security) Interest in AI-powered systems, including voice and conversational interfaces Solid systems and architecture thinking, with a pragmatic approach to tradeoffs Ability to work with incomplete specs and make sound engineering decisions independently Why This Role Matters At Synthio, we build software that directly supports patients, physicians, and pharma teams. This is production software, not prototypes or demos. The systems you build will be used in real workflows, under real constraints, and at real scale. You’ll have meaningful ownership and a clear line of sight from your code to real-world impact. Perks Competitive salary Remote-friendly Team offsites in San Francisco

Everyone here gets hands-on with the tools, learns how to prompt better, and treats AI as a teammate. Role Overview We're looking for a Client Operations Associate / Jr Product Manager to join the early team at Synthio Labs. This role sits at the center of every US client engagement — you'll be in the room (or on the call) when decisions get made, and you'll be the person who makes sure those decisions actually go somewhere. Day to day, that means joining founders and the product team on client meetings, capturing everything that matters, and turning it into clear written communication that keeps both sides accountable. You'll take the lead on preparing client-ready presentations and documentation. This is not a support role. You'll own the written and operational backbone of our US client work — and if you do it well, you'll be running large client deployments or shaping how we operate across accounts within your first year. Four things that are non-negotiable Obsessive capture. You take notes in every meeting like you're the only person who'll remember anything. Four weeks later, you can surface a specific decision from a single slide — because you wrote it down and organized it properly. Written over-communication. You are relentless about keeping projects on track through the written word. Summaries go out before anyone has to ask. Stakeholders know where things stand because you told them — not because they hunted you down. Proactive curiosity. You ask about the things you don't understand — every small thing, every acronym, every product detail you weren't briefed on. You don't let ambiguity sit. You either resolve it or flag it. Document craftsmanship. Client-facing materials carry your name. You use every tool available — including AI — but you read every sentence before it leaves your hands. A misplaced semicolon is a decision, not an oversight. Nothing goes out unintentionally. What you'll own day-to-day in the first 3 months: Join founders and the product team on US client meetings. Capture decisions, action items, and open questions. Send structured, well-crafted written summaries after every significant interaction — internal and external — so the project never loses momentum between meetings. Take the lead on preparing client-ready presentations and documentation: proposals, project updates, exec summaries, and any other materials that represent Synthio Labs to the client. Manage follow-up and accountability for both internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure commitments are honored and timelines stay honest. Participate actively in product thinking — bring what you're hearing from clients back to the product team in a form they can act on. Build and maintain the systems (however simple) that keep US client operations organized, searchable, and legible to anyone who joins the engagement later. Where you will be in 6–12 months if you succeeded in this role: Lead a large, complex Synthio deployment end-

Everyone here gets hands-on with the tools, learns how to prompt better, and treats AI as a teammate. The incumbent vendor stack in Pharma GTM is cracking under the weight of bolt-on AI features it was never built for. And the services layer that pharma has relied on for decades is getting structurally compressed by AI that does the same work faster and with better signal. Synthio is building the AI infrastructure layer for pharma commercial, end to end: field intelligence, HCP engagement, patient support, market research, agentic workflows. We're 5 of the top 10 global pharma companies and are on a rapid growth trajectory heading into our next phase of growth. This role is core to that. Role Overview You'll own enterprise revenue growth. That means sourcing, running, and closing $XXM+ programs with global pharma accounts, and then scaling them. You'll build the commercial playbook from scratch, work directly with the founders on deal strategy, and activate a rolodex of pharma execs you've spent years earning. Our engineering and delivery team moves fast. Your job is to find the opportunity and make the commitment. They'll find a way to deliver. What you'll do Source and close net-new enterprise accounts in pharma commercial (field excellence, commercial ops, medical affairs, digital health) Scale existing accounts from initial pilot to BU-wide deployment Build Synthio's GTM playbook: ICP definition, sales motion, pricing frameworks, expansion triggers Own senior pharma relationships at VP and above, across commercial, digital, and C-suite Who you are You've closed $XXM+ programs in pharma. You know how these deals actually move through procurement, IT, brands, and legal. You have existing relationships at global pharma companies you can activate in the first 90 days. You want to build a playbook, not inherit one. You've probably thought about starting something yourself. This is the closest thing to that, with proof points already in place. Strong signals: 4+ years in pharma commercial, consulting (MBB, ZS), or pharma SaaS (Veeva, Komodo, Tempus) You are genuinely passionate about AI; spend a lot of time with AI tools and understand Agentic AI systems Prior experience selling to commercial ops, field excellence, or digital health teams Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where the answer isn't always obvious You vibe code on weekends (genuinely a green flag) Why now 5 of the top 10 global pharma companies are already customers. The window to join early and own a meaningful piece of what comes next is open, but won't stay that way. What you get Competitive base + equity + performance bonus Opportunity to own and grow P&L The chance to define enterprise AI sales in pharma before anyone else does

About Synthio Synthio Labs is building the Agentic and Voice AI platform for pharma GTM teams — spanning voice AI, agentic workflows, and AI-native infrastructure across field teams, HCP engagement, patient support, and market research. We’re already live with 5 of the top 10 global pharma companies and scaling toward enterprise-wide deployments. About the Role We're looking for a Head of BD & Partnerships to build the ecosystem that accelerates SynthioLabs' growth. You'll own two distinct but complementary motions: closing strategic partnerships with large pharma organizations, and building the technology alliances — with companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, and others — that strengthen our platform and open new distribution channels. This role requires someone who can operate at both levels. You understand how enterprise deals work inside large pharma. You also know how tech partnerships get structured and what makes them valuable beyond the press release. What you'll own Technology & ecosystem alliances Own the full partner relationship with OpenAI, AWS, NVIDIA, GCP, Azure, and Anthropic — from initial MOU to co-sell motions to marketplace listings. Negotiate co-marketing, credits, and joint GTM agreements. Translate partner roadmaps into product input. You're our early-warning system for what's coming from each platform, and you own our presence on AWS, GCP, and Azure Marketplaces as a demand channel. Marketing partnerships Build Synthio's external presence through the right partnership channels. Own relationships with outlets like Forbes and industry publications to drive thought leadership and brand credibility. Identify and secure conference sponsorships and speaking opportunities that put Synthio in front of pharma commercial buyers. Customer advisory board Build Synthio's CAB from scratch. Recruit 8-12 senior pharma commercial and medical affairs leaders, run 2 in-person sessions per year, and convert that signal into structured product and GTM recommendations. Use CAB relationships to open expansion conversations and generate referrals to new logos. Pipeline development Own a qualified partnership pipeline across all tracks — platform alliances, pharma BD, and channel. Work cross-functionally with the founders, product, and GTM teams to prioritize the right deals and kill the wrong ones fast. You'll be managing 15-20 active conversations at any point; the job is knowing which 3 actually matter this quarter. Deal structuring Lead commercial negotiations end-to-end. Define partnership frameworks that create long-term value — not just headline logos. You know the difference between a deal that looks good in a press release and one that compounds into $XXM ARR. You'll work with legal and finance to get deals across the line without losing the strategic intent in the redlines. Who you are 7+ years in BD, partnerships
