What the role involves

Nash powers the logistics infrastructure behind some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, and 7-Eleven, along with platforms like Shopify and Toast. As we scale, our brand needs to scale with us. We're hiring our first dedicated Brand Designer to craft, shape, and build the visual identity of the platform that is becoming foundational to modern commerce. The Role We are right in the middle of defining and rolling out a new Nash brand. Strategy, visual language, motion system, photography direction, the wordmark, the website, the pitch, the booth, the apparel: all of it is being built right now. This is a rare moment to author a brand from close to zero and watch it become the visual identity of a category. You'll report directly to our Chief Growth Officer (who spent their career building and leading marketing, growth, and product organizations at companies like Twilio, Plaid, and Salesforce). You'll work alongside our CEO, our CTO, and a small, senior, fast-moving cross-functional group across product, engineering, and growth. The bar for taste, craft, and strategic thinking on this team is high, and the trajectory for someone strong in this seat is significant. How We Work: A.I.-Native, By Default Brand design at Nash is A.I.-native. We are looking for a designer who has fundamentally rewired how they work around A.I., not a designer who occasionally uses ChatGPT for copy or the occasional inspo image. A designer who reaches for Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, Midjourney, and Runway as instinctively as they reach for the pen tool. Whose entire workflow is built around using A.I. to get to better outcomes faster. The reason is straightforward: the speed and surface area of what one designer can ship has changed by an order of magnitude in the last eighteen months. We want someone who feels that in their bones and uses it to compound their craft, not replace it. Don't get us wrong...we deeply value the soul, the personality, the whimsy...the magic that can only come from a real designer. This is not an A.I. slop-house! But we need to pair the magic of the human touch with the pace and velocity that A.I. tools bring. In practice, this looks like going from a verbal idea to a working interactive prototype the same afternoon, generating ten directions for a campaign before lunch and using your own taste to pick the one worth refining, prototyping a marketing site section in code with Claude or Cursor and handing a working artifact to engineering instead of a static comp, and treating prompt craft, model choice, and tool-chaining as part of your design practice. If your reaction to a new A.I. tool is curiosity and a Saturday afternoon experiment, you'll fit here. If you believe that A.I. will never replace <insert any role of your choosing here!>... then you probably won't. What You'll Do Translate, Define and Evolve the new Nash brand strategy into a complete, living visual system: identity applications, motion principles, photography direction, illustration style, typography in use Design and build the marketing site in Figma and Webflow; own landing pages, campaign pages, product launch moments, and the visual story we tell at events like NRF, Manifest, and Shoptalk Bring the Nash visual language to life through motion: site interactions, product reveals, social, keynote, and trade show Own the visual layer of the demand engine: pitch decks, one-pagers, customer-facing PDFs, partner materials, the work that helps close deals Prototype quickly using A.I. tools (Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, Runway, Midjourney) to compress the loop from idea to artifact Ensure the final touch of any design is always human, authentic, and has soul. While we use A.I. to prototype, we care about that hard to define sparkle that comes from something hand crafted. Build installations and real-world experiences that are fascinatingly real - in a world full of A.I. slop, our brand leans into very tang

What the role involves

Nash is building the Autonomic Logistics OS Full Stack Engineer San Francisco / Hybrid/Remote About Nash Logistics is the substrate beneath every economy that has ever existed, and it remains the least intelligently coordinated activity in the modern world. Consumer expectations are converging on instantaneous, perfect, free. Networks are not. We call this gap the Logistics Singularity, and closing it is the work. Nash is the Autonomic Logistics OS. We unify decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable system that pursues a business’s objectives continuously, adapts as conditions change, and runs the operation at equilibrium across orders, fleets, carriers, providers, and customers. The world’s largest retailers, grocers, and pharmacies (including Walmart, 7-Eleven, Woolworths, and Coles) run their critical workflows on Nash. Founded by Mahmoud Ghulman and Aziz Alghunaim, and backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are based in San Francisco. About the Role We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design and build the Nash portal: the surface where operators see the autonomic system at work. Every order in flight, every delivery in motion, every route being continuously optimized as conditions on the ground change. You will own features end to end across React and Python, working directly with our VP of Engineering, CTO/ co-founder, product, design, and engineering. The right person here cares as much about a fast, considered interface as about the service behind it. The portal is where customers experience the platform, and the difference between a workable workflow and a great one almost always shows up here. What You’ll Do Build and ship features end to end across the stack, from the React and TypeScript portal operators rely on every shift, to the Python services and APIs that power it. Translate logistics problems into products. Partner with PM, design, and operations to turn messy real-world workflows into interfaces and systems that fit how customers actually run their business. Contribute to system design and architectural decisions across the platform, balancing reliability, security, and scalability against the speed the business needs. Write clean, well-tested code, drive thoughtful code reviews, and raise the bar on engineering standards across the team. Debug and resolve production issues across frontend and backend, with the automated tests and observability that catch problems before customers do. Build responsive, high-performance interfaces with a sharp eye for latency, loading and error states, and the edge cases that decide whether an operator trusts the product. Support a strong engineering culture through mentorship, thoughtful reviews, and shared ownership of technical standards. What You’ll Bring 4+ years building and shipping full-stack web applications in production. 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems is a plus. Strong React skills (or equivalent modern frameworks), with deep working knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-driven architecture. Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks. Experience designing and working with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and familiarity with NoSQL stores. Comfort working in microservices or service-oriented architectures. Solid system design, coding, and testing skills on both sides of the stack. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern deployment practices. Product sense and craft. You care about how things feel, not just whether they work. Strong communicator who collaborates well across product, design, operations, and data, and can drive ambiguous problems to a clear outcome. High agency in a fast-paced environment. Mentorship instincts: experience growing other engineers through reviews, pairing, or technical leadership is a plus. Strong preference for the Bay Area. Nash runs a hybrid-

Product Marketing Lead

What the role involves

Background Nash powers the logistics infrastructure behind some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, and 7-Eleven, along with platforms like Shopify and Toast. We are scaling fast, the category is forming around us, and we are building the product marketing function from scratch. We're hiring our first Product Marketing Lead to own positioning, narrative, launches, and the strategic voice of the platform that is becoming foundational to modern commerce. The Role This is the strategic seat where positioning, narrative, customer truth, competitive worldview, and launch craft come together. It is also where the next chapter of Nash's product strategy is shaped. Product marketing can take many different forms in different organizations... It can be a function to spit out whitepapers and datasheets, a megaphone for product management, or… it can be something very different: a force multiplier for the whole organization. We're looking for the latter. You'll report directly to our Chief Growth Officer (whose career has been building and leading marketing, growth, and product organizations at companies like Twilio, Plaid, and Salesforce). You'll work as a peer to our Product Team, and alongside our CEO, our CTO, and a small, senior, fast-moving cross-functional group across product, engineering, sales, and growth. The bar for taste, craft, and strategic thinking on this team is high, and the trajectory for someone strong in this seat is significant. How We Think About PMM The best PMMs sit at the intersection of three rare skills: technical curiosity, business acumen, and creativity. You don't need to be a coder, but you need to understand technical implementation, tradeoffs, and be able to talk to a technical audience credibly enough to know what they'll ask next. You don't need to be a salesperson, but you need to read buying behavior, understand the worldview of the decision-maker, and articulate the value of the problem we're resolving (not the value of our product). You talk in the language of the customer, not the language of our company. You don't need to be a designer or a copywriter, but you need to write narratives with emotional resonance, position with clear differentiation, and find the experiment, the data, or the execution model that actually moves the needle. The skills are hard enough to find in one person. The harder bar is what you do with them. Great PMM teams are not measured on what they did. They are measured on what they got the company to achieve together. They don't ask the org to enable them. They enable the org. They earn strategic influence by inspiring the company with a common vision, and then get the whole company pulling together in the same direction. How We Work: AI-Native, By Default Product marketing at Nash is AI-native and builder-led. We're looking for a PMM who has fundamentally rewired their workflow around AI, not someone who occasionally uses ChatGPT to clean up an email. Someone who reaches for Claude, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Replit, and whatever ships next week as instinctively as they reach for a Google doc. The reason is straightforward: the speed and surface area of what one product marketer can produce has changed by an order of magnitude in the last eighteen months. Customer interview synthesis, competitive teardowns, narrative iteration, message testing at scale, launch asset production, sales enablement, internal narrative documents: every loop has compressed. We want someone who feels that in their bones and uses it to compound their craft, not replace it. We still deeply value the soul, the originality, the conviction, and the taste that can only come from a real product marketer who has actually sat with hundreds of customers and built a worldview. But we need to pair that with the velocity AI brings, so insight reaches the org and the market while it still matters. In practice this looks like having Claude synthesize forty custome

Founded by Mahmoud Ghulman and Aziz Alghunaim, and backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are based in San Francisco. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build the systems at the core of the Autonomic Logistics OS: the services that turn real-world constraints into real-time decisions, route millions of jobs to the right execution path, and keep promises across fleets, gig networks, and carrier providers. You will work directly with our VP of Engineering,  CTO/ co-founder, alongside a tight, high-ownership engineering team. This is a role for someone energized by complexity. Logistics has no static optimum: stores close, weather changes, providers exit markets, demand shifts. The systems you build will sense those conditions, recalculate, and continuously refind the equilibrium in motion that keeps a customer’s promises intact. What You’ll Do Design and build the backend services that power Nash’s decisioning, execution, and capacity layers, including job orchestration, carrier selection, real-time tracking, and post-purchase workflows. Own complex systems from architecture through deployment, observability, and continuous performance work in production. Build and harden the integrations that connect Nash to fragmented carrier networks, fleet systems, and partner APIs, treating reliability as a first-class product feature. Collaborate with frontend, product, design, and data partners to ship intelligent, user-first experiences, and with operations to encode real-world workflows into how the system runs. Improve transaction and policy infrastructure for accuracy, performance, and resilience as volume and modalities grow. Raise the bar on documentation, testing, code quality, and incident response. Make pragmatic technical bets that move the business forward without accumulating fragile complexity. What You’ll Bring 5+ years building and shipping backend systems in production, with clear ownership of services that handled real load. Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks. Experience with Go or TypeScript is a plus. Fluency designing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS). Solid command of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), managed services (serverless, queues, databases), and CI/CD pipelines. Deep instincts for scalable system design and performance optimization, with a sharp eye for the failure modes that matter. Product sense: the ability to balance technical quality with speed and user value, and to push back when the right thing to build is not the thing on the spec. High agency in a fast-paced environment. You notice what needs improvement and act on it. A collaborative communicator who writes clearly and partners well across functions. Bonus Experience with AsyncIO, event-driven architectures, or integration-heavy systems. Familiarity with risk, security, or compliance-driven domains. A track record building distributed systems that process large transaction volumes with strict reliability requirements. Exposure to AI or rule-based automation systems, especially in opera

Full Stack Engineering Intern

What the role involves

Full Stack Engineering Intern San Francisco About Nash Logistics is the substrate beneath every economy that has ever existed, and it remains the least intelligently coordinated activity in the modern world. Consumer expectations are converging on instantaneous, perfect, free. Networks are not. We call this gap the Logistics Singularity, and closing it is the work. Nash is the Autonomic Logistics OS. We unify decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable system that pursues a business's objectives continuously, adapts as conditions change, and runs the operation at equilibrium across orders, fleets, carriers, providers, and customers. The world's largest retailers, grocers, and pharmacies (including Walmart, 7-Eleven, Woolworths, and Coles) run their critical workflows on Nash. Founded by Mahmoud Ghulman and Aziz Alghunaim, and backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are based in San Francisco. About the Role We're looking for a Full Stack Engineering Intern to work on Nash's intelligent and agentic layer: the part of the system that senses conditions on the ground, decides what should happen next, and acts. Agents that triage exceptions, recover routes mid-shift, answer operator questions, and intervene before a promise breaks. You'll work across React and Python to build the interfaces operators trust and the agents working alongside them. This isn't a sandbox internship. You'll pick up real work on day one, ship code customers use, and leave with something concrete to point to. The right person here is as interested in how an agent reasons as in how its decisions show up in the interface. Agents are only as useful as the trust operators place in them, and that trust is built or broken in the product. What You'll Do Ship features end to end across Nash's agentic layer, from the React and TypeScript surfaces where operators work with agents, to the Python services and LLM workflows that power them. Build agent capabilities that resolve real operational problems: rerouting around a closure, reassigning a stuck order, surfacing the right answer to a dispatcher mid-shift. Translate logistics problems into product. Sit in with PM, design, and operations to turn messy real-world workflows into systems that fit how customers actually run their business. Contribute to system design discussions on how agents reason, when they act on their own, and when they hand off to a human, with senior engineers around the table to push your thinking. Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and pick up the standards a strong engineering team runs on. Debug across frontend, backend, and model behavior, with the observability and evals that catch problems before customers do. Build responsive interfaces with a sharp eye for latency, loading and error states, and the edge cases that decide whether an operator trusts an agent's recommendation. What You'll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or recently graduated. Hands-on experience building full-stack web applications, through coursework, side projects, prior internships, or open source. Working knowledge of Python, React (or an equivalent modern framework), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred). Exposure to GraphQL or NoSQL is a plus. Curiosity about LLMs, agents, and AI systems. Prior experience building with them is a plus, not a requirement. Product sense and craft. You care about how things feel, not just whether they work. A strong communicator who can collaborate across disciplines and drive ambiguous problems toward a clear outcome. High agency. You don't wait to be told what to do next. San Francisco ONLY. Why This Role Matters The intelligent and agentic layer is the part of Nash that turns raw signal into action.
