What the role involves
We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React Native. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different features of the product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. Responsibilities Developing cross-platform user-facing features using React Native Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Skills Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles Experience with popular React Native workflows Familiarity with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements A knack for benchmarking and optimization
What the role involves
As a Software Engineer at Groww, you will be working on advanced technologies, creating user-friendly solutions, applying algorithms and data structures and solving problems. Your everyday work will involve participating in design and architecture discussions with other members of the team. This, we believe, is the best way to learn about our software systems, best practices and standards in the industry. You are also expected to contribute back by asking questions and by helping the team arrive at decisions. Your work will primarily involve converting the proposed design, interfaces and architectures into Services and Applications. Much of this implementation will be on top of databases: creating data access layers and implementing Application programming interfaces (APIs). You will be the owner of the product you will be working on, right from the implementation, testing, product demo, and production deployment, to the monitoring of the application.
