About the Role DeepAware AI (YC S25) is building secure, efficient, and autonomous infrastructure for the AI era. As an AI/ML Engineer, you’ll design, build, and deploy machine learning models that power our next-generation Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform. Your work will focus on reinforcement learning for intelligent workload scheduling, optimization algorithms for energy and cost savings, and anomaly detection to prevent downtime and enhance security. You’ll be joining a fast-moving, technically ambitious team tackling some of the most complex real-world AI problems at the intersection of computing, energy, and robotics. Responsibilities Develop and refine reinforcement learning models for GPU workload placement and power optimization Implement anomaly detection pipelines for real-time threat detection and failure alerts Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality, production-ready datasets Benchmark models against industry baselines and integrate them into our production systems Contribute to overall architecture and deployment strategies for large-scale AI infrastructure Requirements Strong background in machine learning; hands-on experience with reinforcement learning techniques Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow Experience with distributed training and deployment in production environments Familiarity with energy systems, scheduling algorithms, or operations research is a plus Ability to thrive in a startup environment — ownership mindset, adaptability, and collaborative spirit Nice-to-Have Experience with NVIDIA CUDA/cuDNN, Triton Inference Server, or ROS2 for robotics integration Knowledge of data center operations or AI infrastructure optimization Location: San Francisco Bay Area preferred; remote considered for exceptional candidates Why DeepAware? As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving growth by forging partnerships with data center operators and other key players in the AI infrastructure ecosystem. You’ll lead pilot deployments, close strategic deals, and help scale DeepAware’s market presence globally. You’ll be joining a fast-moving, high-impact team tackling some of the most pressing challenges in data center automation — working at the intersection of AI, energy, and robotics. About the Role DeepAware AI (YC S25) is building secure, efficient, and autonomous infrastructure for the AI era. As a Robotics Engineer, you’ll develop and integrate autonomous systems that enable 24/7 inspections, cable swaps, and maintenance in large-scale data centers. Your work will bridge the gap between physical robotics and our AI-powered Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform — creating the “robotic hands” for next-gen AI infrastructure. Responsibilities Design robotic manipulation and navigation systems optimized for constrained, high-density environments Integrate vision systems for automated inspections and anomaly detection Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to connect robotics control with real-time DCIM data pipelines Prototype, test, and refine robotic hardware/software at pilot deployment sites Ensure reliability, safety, and scalability of robotics solutions for continuous operations Requirements Proficiency with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, and OpenCV Hands-on experience in autonomous navigation and robotic manipulation Ability to work across hardware and software components, including embedded systems and control algorithms Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to iterate quickly in a startup environment Nice-to-Have Experience with industrial robotics or data center operations Knowledge of computer vision model training and deployment Familiarity with robotic arm kinematics, path planning, and sensor fusion Location: Bay Area, CA preferred Why DeepAware?
