We’re looking for a Graphic & Web Designer who aligns with our mission of building scalable, reliable, and easy-to-use maritime robotic systems. This role supports an engineering-led team where design is expected to be clear, consistent, and grounded in real use. You’ll work directly with the people building the product to create visual assets and websites that reflect what we ship—practical, cutting-edge, and dependable. What the role involves
Vessel Operations & Maintenance Safely pilot single-outboard boats (up to 30 ft) for deployments, test missions, and routine transport Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues Oversee fueling, docking, anchoring, and vessel cleaning Logistics & Coordination Plan and execute transportation of equipment, including hauling trailers, towing vessels, and arranging freight/shipping Coordinate with marinas, customs, freight carriers, and service vendors Track inventory of spare parts, safety gear, and operational supplies Safety & Compliance Maintain vessel and personnel logs; conduct safety drills and enforce all USCG regulations Ensure all certificates, licenses, and insurance policies are current and filed appropriately Cross-Functional Support Assist engineering teams with deploying and recovering maritime robotics prototypes Provide on-site logistical support during field tests and demonstrations Serve as the primary point of contact for outside contractors and port authorities

This role focuses on developing and optimizing path planning algorithms, managing edge compute environments, and ensuring software deployability in dynamic, real-world maritime conditions. The ideal candidate combines a strong background in mathematical frameworks for path planning with hands-on experience in embedded Linux systems and multi-sensor integration. Key Responsibilities Research, design, and implement advanced path planning algorithms tailored to USV operations. Manage edge compute resources to deliver reliable, real-time decision-making in resource-constrained environments. Build robust software deployment pipelines to ensure repeatable and efficient updates to vehicles operating in the field. Integrate and optimize feedback from heterogeneous sensor suites, enabling precise navigation and adaptive autonomy. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (hardware, perception, controls) to deliver end-to-end autonomy solutions. Contribute to testing, validation, and refinement of planning algorithms in simulation and live maritime environments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to design and implement full-stack applications, IoT interfaces, and infrastructure management tools. Build and scale backend systems using Go, connectRPC, AWS Lambda, and Load Balancers. Develop intuitive, responsive front-end solutions with React.
