You won't just check boxes — you'll help define how Loombotic inspects, tests, documents, and improves what it ships. Expect to wear several hats and build systems as the factory scales. The role You'll own quality at the handoff between automated production, manual finishing, electrical test, rework, and shipment — inspecting harnesses and cable assemblies, running and supporting electrical tests, documenting defects, and helping production and engineering kill recurring issues before they reach customers. You don't need startup experience. You do need to care deeply about accuracy, documentation, and repeatability. Software is the core of why we're faster than traditional manufacturing - it runs everything from the instant quote a customer sees to the work instructions on the floor to the machines that build the harness. The role You'll be one of our first software hires, building the systems that make an automated harness factory run: the instant-quoting engine, the production/MES software technicians and machines work from, customer-facing tooling, and the data backbone tying it all together. This is a high-ownership generalist role - you'll ship features end-to-end, talk to the people on the floor and the customers using what you build, and have an outsized say in the architecture as we scale. The role You'll build the perception and robotics that let our automated line handle wires, connectors, and terminals - parts that are flexible, small, and hard for traditional automation. That means vision systems that find and orient connectors and wire ends, and robot motion that picks, places, routes, and terminates reliably on a real production floor.
