The role You'll be our first dedicated ML hire building the ML systems at the core of Terranox. The work spans multiple modalities and model classes, much of it without an off-the-shelf playbook. You'll train computer vision models from scratch on messy, sparsely-labeled data and ship them into a production pipeline that drives real-world decisions. This is a hands-on, build-from-zero role. The role You'll be our founding applied scientist, anchoring the scientific foundations of our discovery stack. You'll lead how we work with the full range of geoscientific data — geophysical, geochemical, geological, and remote sensing — from what we acquire, to how we process and integrate it, to how it feeds the systems that drive our targeting decisions. Much of the work has no off-the-shelf playbook. Requirements PhD in geophysics, applied physics, computational physics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field; or equivalent deep technical expertise Deep experience with exploration geophysics and with geophysical inversions Strong scientific computing skills (Python, the standard stack) Working fluency with ML — you can be a real thought partner on what we're building Comfort with ambiguous, sparse, multi-modal data Bonus Experience working alongside ML researchers or engineers Prior early-stage startup experience Logistics In-person in San Francisco

The role You'll be Terranox's geological anchor — the deep domain expertise that grounds our targeting in real subsurface geology and keeps our field work rooted in how Athabasca uranium deposits behave. You'll work closely with our science and ML teams, bridging data-driven targets and the geological picture on the ground, and leading the field execution behind our drill programs. Requirements 10+ years of exploration geology experience, with Athabasca Basin uranium experience as a core part of your background P.Geo. designation, registered or eligible for registration with APEGS Track record on real exploration programs — drill program design, execution, and geological interpretation Deep understanding of unconformity-related uranium deposit models and the geological controls on mineralization in the Athabasca Experience managing diamond drilling contractors, assay labs, and geophysical service providers Comfort working alongside data-driven and quantitative targeting methods, and genuine interest in how AI/ML can change how exploration is done Bonus Qualified Person status under NI 43-101 Direct contribution to a named uranium discovery Logistics Based in Saskatchewan, with regular travel to San Francisco for team time
