What the role involves

Marketing & Business Development Intern – Orangewood Labs About Us: Orangewood Labs is building AI-powered collaborative robotic arms for the next generation of manufacturing. Through our education initiative, Vega, we are also creating a strong Robotics & AI ecosystem across universities. Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic intern to support marketing and business development efforts, drive outreach, and help expand our presence across colleges and industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in social media marketing (LinkedIn & Instagram) and run campaigns Attend events and do networking Support college outreach and partnership initiatives Generate and qualify leads for workshops, labs, and programs Coordinate events, workshops, and on-ground activations Conduct market research and competitor analysis Help with content creation and campaign execution Who Can Apply: 1st–3rd year students (Marketing / Business / Engineering preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in startups, robotics, AI, or tech Self-driven and proactive mindset

What the role involves

Work with our AI/vision team to build perception for Orangewood robot arms: object detection, pose estimation, bin picking, visual inspection.You will prototype image-processing and deep learning models, collect and label data, run experiments, and help integrate vision features into real-world use cases . What you should know: Strong Python; basics of NumPy, OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow Fundamentals of CNNs, image classification, detection/segmentation Data handling: image annotation, datasets, train/val/test splits Bonus: camera calibration, 3D geometry, ROS, robotics exposure
