Position Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Developer to help build and scale clinician-facing mobile applications that extend Knowtex’s ambient documentation platform into real-world care environments. This role focuses on delivering performant, intuitive mobile experiences that integrate seamlessly with our AI-powered backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain iOS and/or Android mobile applications
Integrate mobile clients with backend APIs and real-time AI services
Optimize performance, reliability, and offline capabilities
Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on API design
Implement secure authentication and HIPAA-compliant data handling
Participate in release cycles and app store deployment processes
Required Qualifications
3–6+ years of mobile development experience
Experience with Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter
Strong understanding of API integration and mobile networking
Experience with mobile performance optimization
Familiarity with secure mobile app architecture
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare applications
Experience integrating AI-driven features in mobile apps
Experience building enterprise-grade mobile apps

About Knowtex

With the rise of EHRs, the manual documentation burden on doctors has never been higher, leading to burnout and fatigue and high attrition rates. Assigning the correct diagnosis and billing codes is crucial for proper reimbursement and patient care, but medical coding is becoming more and more complex each year with growing numbers of codes (over 145,000 now), and doctors are unsupported by current technology to keep up with its ever increasing requirements. $125 billion is left on the table each year by healthcare organizations due to improper documentation and coding. Knowtex creates visit notes with up-to-date and accurate reimbursement codes from doctor-patient conversations, allowing the doctor to focus on patient care and preventing revenue leakage for hospital systems through standardized, transparent, and accurate documentation.
