Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Development
Design, develop, and maintain optimal cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform.
Infrastructure as Code (Iac)
Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code configurations using Terraform to ensure repeatability and Scalability of infrastructure deployments.
CI/CD Pipeline Management
Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
FinOps
- Extensive experience in managing and maintaining AWS Spot Instances, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans.
- Implementing FinOps strategies to optimize cloud cost efficiency and resource utilization
Networking Concepts
- Understand and apply networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing to ensure
- Optimal system performance and reliability.
Application Monitoring
Monitor application errors and anomalies using Sentry, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
Containerization with Docker
Develop and deploy Docker containers to ensure consistency and scalability across environments.
Automation with Shell Scripts
Write and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance system efficiency.
DevOps Solutions Design
Design and implement enterprise-level DevOps solutions, integrating tools and technologies to enhance automation, deployment, and monitoring capabilities.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership and expertise in areas related to infrastructure, cloud services, and CI/CD processes.
Documentation
Develop and maintain documentation related to DevOps architecture, design decisions, processes, and standards.
Security Best Practices
Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure, including SSL/TLS configurations, firewall settings, and intrusion detection systems.
Industry Trends
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to keep the infrastructure modern and efficient.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AWS and Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Proficiency in writing shell scripts for automation.
- Experience designing and implementing DevOps solutions at an enterprise level.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to new technologies.
