What Info Edge does
Founded in 1995, Info Edge is known as India's first consumer internet company. The company has various core services under its umbrella, including Naukri - a job portal, which was the first company that Info Edge launched, 99acres - a real estate listing and search platform, Jeevansathi - a matrimonial website, and Shiksha - an educational portal providing information on colleges, courses, and exams. Info Edge also acquired companies such as AmbitionBox, Aisle and Coding Ninjas to expand its offerings. Info Edge went public in November 2006, raising Rs 170.36 Cr at the issue price of Rs 320 per share. With a revenue of Rs 2950.08 Cr in FY24, Info Edge competes with companies including Housing.com and BharatMatrimony.
