About Human Archive
Human Archive is a robotics data lab founded by Stanford and UC Berkeley dropouts. We work alongside frontier robotics labs and foundation model research groups to collect large-scale, quality, diverse, multimodal datasets of humans performing everyday tasks across household and industrial environments.
We are lean, technical, and operate at extreme speed, taking on unglamorous and conventionally impossible problems that directly unlock step-function gains in model capability.
The deployment of capable humanoids at scale will permanently redefine human labor. Undesirable physical work will disappear, and human effort will shift toward a new era of abundant creativity. This shift is inevitable, and we are building the infrastructure to accelerate it.

About the Role
This role is ideal for someone early in their career (1-5 years of experience, or an exceptional dropout) who wants real operational ownership, not a rotational apprenticeship. You’ll work closely with the co-founders and Head of Operations in a high-trust role at the center of execution at Human Archive.
As a founding Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of field operations, including sourcing and structuring partnerships to unlock access to real-world labor environments, deploying and supporting field teams, and ensuring clean data offload, audit, and closure. Your mandate is to turn site access into reliable, repeatable, high-velocity data collection, even in messy, real-world conditions.
You will build and run core operating systems: coordinating site readiness, managing kits and logistics, leading large field teams during on-site execution, and enforcing post-site workflows that guarantee data quality and operational closure. This is a hands-on execution role: you’ll plan, but you’ll also be on the ground sometimes supporting field teams, unblocking issues, tightening processes, and making sure things actually get done.
What You’ll Do
Source, structure, and manage site partnerships to unlock access to real-world labor environments, and convert that access into executed field deployments
Own the end-to-end execution of field operations, from site readiness and kit logistics to on-site execution and post-site closure
Lead and support large field teams, ensuring consistent execution through SOPs, checklists, and real-time problem solving
Plan and run high-velocity data collection campaigns, balancing speed, scale, data quality, and operational constraints
Build, operate, and continuously improve core ops systems across sites, kits, data offloading, audits, and payouts
Identify failure points in the field and translate them into durable process improvements, not one-off fixes
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience in operations, top startups, logistics, marketplaces, consulting, banking, or field work is a plus, but not required
Recent graduates or dropouts, early-career candidates, or experienced operators based in India
Ability to lead field teams, manage on-site execution, and ensure reliable data capture and upload workflows
Strong communication skills with the ability to move fast, make decisions with limited information, and take full ownership
Strategic thinker ready to take on unglamorous, conventionally impossible problems and work harder than they ever have before
About Human Archive
We’re archiving the physical world for embodied intelligence by collecting and labeling aligned multimodal data. To build dexterous and perceptive robots that generalize robustly, we need massive amounts of real-world data across multiple modalities and environments. We have thought deeply about the fine line between biomimicry and its application to humanoid systems. Based on this research, we design and deploy custom hardware across residential and manufacturing settings. We then post-process the resulting data through internal QA, anonymization, and annotation pipelines to deliver diverse, high-fidelity datasets at scale to frontier labs developing robotics foundation models and general-purpose robotics companies. We believe we are at a historic inflection point, with a unique opportunity to leave a dent on humanity and reshape physical labor markets forever. That's why our team dropped out of Stanford and Berkeley and moved to Asia to collect the world’s largest annotated multimodal dataset.
