Originally launched as Grofers, it transitioned to quick commerce, expanding to items like produce, snacks, and personal care. In 2025, Blinkit announced its plans to expand into smaller cities by opening more dark stores and investing in last-mile delivery tech, strengthening its backend to support its 10-minute delivery promise. With a revenue of Rs 747.70 Cr in FY23, Blinkit competes with companies including Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and BigBasket.
