Founded in 2011, BigBasket is an online grocery sector, offering fresh produce, packaged food, and household goods. Initially focusing on traditional grocery delivery, the unicorn later introduced quick commerce services through its BBdaily. In 2024, BigBasket announced the merger of BBdaily into its core app to streamline quick commerce offerings. The company also launched a SaaS platform for emerging D2C players. With a revenue of Rs 7,462.41 Cr in FY23, BigBasket competes with companies including Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto.
