About the role

We're expanding our team. We're looking for someone with strong backend fundamentals who has shipped code that real users actually used.

What the role involves

• Build and manage data pipelines and AI workflows in an existing backend
• Own integrations between our systems and third-party tools like CRMs, call-analysis platforms, WhatsApp tooling, analytics and keep them running reliably
• Build pipelines that move, transform, and sync data across these systems (e.g. pushing call analysis into a client's CRM)
• Design and maintain AI-driven workflows on the backend
• Build new backend systems when needed
• Occasionally stand up new services from scratch
• Ship updates and new features to existing products on a weekly cadence
• Write Python for automation, APIs, and data movement
• Document what you build so systems can scale and be reused by others

Requirements

• Written code that ran in production for a real product with real users and be able to talk in detail about it
• Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, data modelling, integrations, debugging systems you didn't write
• Comfort working inside an existing codebase rather than only greenfield
• Experience owning execution end to end on at least one project
