What WeMakeScholars does
Founded in 2015, WeMakeScholars operates in Edtech offering a comprehensive scholarship search engine and education finance services. The platform hosts the worlds largest database of international scholarships, aiming to assist study abroad aspirants in arranging finance through scholarships and education loans. Additionally, WeMakeScholars provides free-of-cost services for education loan support, initially collaborating with public banks and later expanding to include private banks and NBFCs. Since its inception, the platform has registered over a million students seeking scholarships and about 100,000 requests for education loan assistance. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, as part of the Digital India Campaign.
