
What Swiggy does
Founded in 2014, Swiggy is a food delivery aggregator platform. The foodtech company has its subsidiary company to compete with Blinkit, named Swiggy Instamart, with its operations in over 100 cities. Swiggy has also launched now products such as Bolt, a 10-minute food delivery service expanded to over 500 cities, and Assure, a platform to facilitate supplies to restaurants. Swiggy has maintained its market share at 42%, coming second to Zomato. Swiggy went public in November 2024, raising Rs 11,327.43 Cr at the issue price of Rs 390 per share. With a revenue of Rs 5,361.30 Cr in FY23, Swiggy competes with companies including Zomato and Zepto.
